A time when an overweight man of mystery breaks into houses to judge children, rewarding them with toys made out of slave labor or punishing them with valuable heat sources... He then consumes their sweets and returns to his outdated transportation to whip his animals

Yes, well, in any case, when I was about Maria's age, a dear friend of the family made me a marionette as a gift, and it was one of my favorite toys. Perhaps she'd like something like that?

...Yes, well! It's a sort of a doll, except that its limbs are on strings, so one can move it around and make it dance and things. They're really great fun.
