[Sporking] The Plus One of RWBY - Chapter 8 part 4
Dang it! Good one Ruby." AJ said as he stood up, his white version of Crescent Rose disappeared and his jeans were blue again.
"Thanks! You did good too! And what an awesome semblance you have!" Ruby said.
[Fufu]: It's really not.
"No kidding! You copy peoples weapons!? That's pretty badass." Yang said as the rest of team RWBY, and team JNPR walked up.
[Fufu]: No, what you do is badass, Yang. What Weiss can do is badass. This is cheap. And lazy.
"So that's what you meant by multiple fighting styles!" Weiss realized. "I thought glyphs were your semblance?"
"No, I can barely use glyphs besides the simple one that acts like a wall, still helps but I can't do much more than that and maybe a speed glyph." AJ explained.
[Weiss]: *sighs and rubs the bridge of her nose in frustration*
"How did you know how to use her weapon though?" Jaune asked.
"Well Ruby is crazy about weapons, me , I'm secretly wondering what that weapon has been through. When I copy a weapon I learn about all the fights its ([Kirby]: “it’s”) been in and learn how to use it all in an instant, it's a pretty incredible feeling." AJ said with a smile.
[Fufu]: Translation: I don’t have to work to learn this stuff. I just instantly know it cause the author is lazy and doesn’t want to show me actually working for something.
"Alright that's just freaking awesome!" Yang said with a laugh.
"So there you go! That's my semblance!" AJ said.
Weiss grabbed Ruby and pulled her away from the group and whispered something to her. They eventually turned to the others.
[Weiss]: Please say that Not-Me has convinced Not-Ruby to assist in throwing this absurdity out of Beacon and back to preschool, where he belongs.
"Sorry guys, we gotta go to our dorm for a team meeting, see ya! Come on AJ." Ruby said.
They went to their dorm.
[Fufu]: This author really fascinates me; sometimes, he can put so much detail into a sentence to the point where we cry for him to cut them down cause not everything is needed, and then there are times when he does this, and I actually want some more info. It doesn’t have to be a full on story-within-a-story of what they saw and how they took each individual step, but a little more would be nice.
"So I'm guessing this is about my-" AJ started as he was the first to walk into team RWBY's dorm.
"Happy Birthday!" They all cheered.
[Fufu]: *deadpanned* Oh wow, I totes wasn’t expecting that. God Kirby, did you see such a plot twist coming? And in the same chapter as we find out the information that AJ’s birthday had passed and he didn’t like birthdays. And Weiss, surely they haven’t gotten him presents even though he said he didn’t like getting presents. Wow. *single clap*
[Kirby]:
"Ah, so this is about that." AJ said.
"Cheer up you! We aren't letting you just not celebrate your birthday! So we got you some presents!" Yang said. They were all smiling at him so he wasn't gonna say no.
"Alrighty then. What did you get?" He asked.
"I got you a custom headset, you said you like music so…" Ruby said as she handed him the headset. Dark grey with his symbol
[Fufu]: ...What even is his symbol? Did I miss this little tidbit when I skimmed over all those long descriptive paragraphs?
on the sides in white, the circle with wings inside that touch the edge of the circle. The symbol is on the back of his black shirt but its ([Kirby]: “it’s” again) hard to see behind the cloak.
[Fufu]: Ah, so we hadn’t seen his symbol before this point, since you’ve essentially told us, “Oh yeah, he has one.”
[Kirby]: Why a pair of wings though? Why stop there? You could add cat ears, a tail, a sword, and a dick; that would sum up AJ pretty well.
[Fufu]: Yep. So much going on in the one picture. Also, this description is legit so shit, I actually got confused for a moment there and thought the wings being mentioned were some sort of plastic wings coming off the headphones themselves. Which likewise led to me thinking, “You haven’t told us what his symbol is.”
[Weiss]: And the symbols you’re referring to are called “sigils.”
"Wow, thanks Ruby." he said as he patted her on the shoulder.
"Consider that from the both of us since I had to pay for it but Ruby had the idea of it." Yang said. He nodded in thanks to her.
[Kirby]: I swear that this exact scene was in Twilight; Bella got a radio for her truck from the Cullens.
[Fufu]: Considering the author has made AJ a furry-- I mean Faunus, I wouldn’t be surprised if the author is Team Jacob or something.
Weiss stepped forward with a familiar white briefcase. "I got you a few different types of Dust to try out. You said you wanted to use it."
"Wow, thank you Weiss." AJ said with an overdramatic bow.
"You better know how to use it by the time I get back from break." Weiss demanded.
[Weiss]: Is this Not-Me insane!? Dust in its raw form is an extremely volatile substance, and should never be given to people who don’t know how to treat it responsibly! He could blow a hole in the side of the school by accident!
"Ya, I'll try, it didn't really work last time." AJ said sheepishly. 'Stupid Energy neutralizing any Dust I touch.'
[Fufu]: In any other situation, I’d probably be glad that there is a downside to this additional feature that AJ has. But here, this is stupid. If his Energy neutralises Dust, then that makes the Dust he’s stitched into his clothing useless, as well as any Dust powered weapons that others use since he gets pretty close to people. Also, if this is a thing, then the Dust explosion from chapter 3 shouldn’t have been as supercharged as it was. It shouldn’t have even happened. Not to mention that we’ve learnt this so late in the story that it feels shoehorned in to show that one of AJ’s abilities is flawed and that he isn’t oh so perfect.
"And what did you get Blake? Are you gonna kiss him?" Yang asked with a smile.
[Weiss]: Please tell me that doesn’t happen.
[Fufu]: *skims ahead slightly* ...Doesn’t-ish. Depends on what the individual would think of this upcoming scene.
Blake blushed and walked up to him. AJ blushed as well thinking she might actually do it. She hugged him suddenly.
"I just want to say thank you, thank you so much for being there for me, for all of us." Blake said.
AJ returned the hug and smiled. "Of course, you guys are always there for me, I can never thank you guys enough for that."
Everyone "aww'd" at that and he glared at them with his eyes glowing over Blake's shoulder and they all looked away from them avoiding his gaze.
[Fufu]: See that?! They actually show support for this shit and his instant reaction is to look angry and essentially say, “Shut up or else.” What the fuck is wrong with you? It isn’t helped by the fact that you actually have the power to force them to shut up.
"Even so," Blake said pulling out of the hug but still with her arms around him, she quickly kissed him on the cheek before letting go. "Thank you." She said before backing up to where the others were.
[Weiss]: I feel disgusted on Blake’s behalf.
When Weiss, Yang, and Ruby looked back up they saw AJ blushing immensely and holding his left hand to his cheek with his mouth open slightly, he saw them looking at him and he looked away from all of them.
"Wait, you did kiss him?" Yang asked actually surprised. Blake blushed more than she already was and looked away. Yang started laughing. "Congratulations birthday boy!" She said before continuing her laughter.
"It was just a thank you." Blake mumbled.
"It's not even my birthday anymore." AJ mumbled without looking at them.
[Fufu]: *overly syrupy voice* D’awww look at the two of theeeeem. They totes have crushes on each other but they won’t admit it. Ain’t it adooooooooowable?!
[Weiss]: No.
After more laughing and teasing they met up with JNPR and started heading towards the airships out of Beacon. All they talked about was their plans for the break except AJ who lagged behind everyone, Ren noticed this and slowed down to walk beside him.
[Fufu]: No Ren, you’re supposed to speed up dammit! Quick before the airship flies off and leaves you with him!
[Kirby]: I swear if the author plays the Monty card again...
"Are you alright?" Ren asked.
"I'm fine, I just… I'm not going anywhere for the break, I'm staying here and I'm gonna keep training, I'm just gonna be a bit lonely is all, but I hope you all have fun." AJ said with an honest smile at the end.
"Actually, Jaune and Pyrrha are staying to train as well." Ren pointed out.
"Oh, really?" AJ asked.
"Ya, and Blake said she's staying because she doesn't really have anywhere to be or family to see so she'll just keep an eye on their dorm."
[Fufu]: Question: How does Ren know this? Unless Blake told him as a fellow quiet stoic, though even then, they aren’t especially close. Though admittedly, that is a crack ship I could maybe get behind… *thinks about it*
[Kirby]: I think Nora would have a few objections.
[Fufu]: Maybe, though I guess personally, I’d see Nora as the type to pull an I Want My Beloved To Be Happy.
[Kirby]: That’s too sad, let’s not do that.
[Fufu]: Yeah, let’s just keep going. Though my question still stands.
[Weiss]: I would like to know why Not-Me is going home, I also stay at Beacon during breaks.
[Fufu]: I think it can once again be said that, despite this fic Weiss now succumbing to AJ’s control and being a good little Snow Angel, she’s still on thin ice and isn’t necessarily in the author’s good books. And the author still isn’t aware of how bad your backstory is nor some of the more popular fan theories about your home life.
[Weiss]: *sarcastically* Excellent, so it’s not just the tabloids, now even people in other worlds are making up stories. Fantastic.
[Fufu]: And out of respect, we’re not going to pry while you’re here with us.
Ren said and AJ visually brightened in demeanor. "I have to say, despite all the colorful members of the group, you are the most… interesting one."
"I won't deny I'm interesting but I'm hardly the most interesting." AJ said with a chuckle.
[Kirby]: Jaune is more interesting than you.
[Fufu]: Ren’s grown up with Nora. Unless growing up together lessened the impact of her colourful personality, he’s hardly going to find anyone else overly interesting after Nora.
"The big detail about you that shows more than the others is how much you care for all of us, even me and the rest of JNPR, and you seem to forgive them in the end no matter how bad they wrong you."
[Kirby]: Are you talking about the fight with Weiss? Because Ren shouldn’t know about that.
[Fufu]: Yes, AJ truly does care about Team JNPR, given how he victim blamed Jaune while he was getting picked on, how often he talks about and spends time with the group other than just the normal everyday lunchtime seating arrangement, and not to mention when he showed concern for Ren back when the author decided to fit in a twisted memorial paragraph for Monty. I mean, he let them leave without asking if he was okay, nor did he ask if he was okay when they next met up. Yep. Truly, they are blood brothers.
"Friends are the most important thing to me."
[Kirby]: AJ: “Until they say something I don’t like, then they need to be corrected.”
[Fufu]: And yet he only had one friend in his original world. If friends were so important to him, he’d have more. Not to mention how he gives Neko the shaft, despite saying at one point that he considered Neko a friend. ...In fact, Neko hasn’t been around for a while, has he?
"That really shows with how protective you are. The one time Cardin tried to hurt Jaune, not just bully him, you almost broke his legs.
[Kirby]: When did this happen?
You also literally get between us and Cardin when he walks by, no one see's it except me but I see you suddenly move to another part of the group and glare at Cardin as he walks by.
[Kirby]: When did this happen?
You even hugged Weiss when she was depressed, no one else would have done that.
[Kirby]: We already established that this didn’t happen. And I’m pretty sure Ruby or Yang would be all too willing to hug a sad teammate.
[Fufu]: So many Noodle Incidents man. Want a bowl, Kirby? Weiss?
[Weiss]: I- what?
[Fufu]: It's just noodles. Oodles and oodles of noodles, born from all these Noodle Incidents.
We all see each other as friends and comrades and we would fight for each other, but you and Jaune are the ones that I'm sure would die for us if you thought you needed to."
[Kirby]: Huh, the author’s actually right about something. I’ve mentioned before that Jaune does see himself as expendable compared to his teammates. He would die for them.
[Weiss]: *eyes widen in surprise* *frowns in thought*
[Fufu]: ...I’m actually sort of upset that I can’t call this an Informed Attribute on AJ’s part since we saw in this very chapter that he gained his Evil Upgrade because Ruby got hurt and could’ve been killed, as stupid of a situation as it was.
"I hope it never comes to that though."
"I hope so as well. But what I'm getting at here is that, you don't treat us like friends, more like…" Ren searched for the word, he found one but wasn't sure if he should say it.
[Fufu]: Good, because it's completely the wrong word. Try ‘slaves’ or ‘puppets’. It fits the author better since he’s writing the story, but AJ is his self-insert so...
"Family. You are all family to me." AJ said with a smile. 'Since I don't have any to speak of here.'
"We are a really weird family then." Blake said with a smile as she fell back in step with them.
[Fufu]: Not necessarily. Yes, groups of friends can come to regard one another as a kind of family if they’ve been together a long time and they truly know each other. To use an example, I personally envision the Kalos Gym Leaders like a sort of family-esque group. Not to mention that there have been weirder families.
[Kirby]: The Strawhat Crew from One Piece are often viewed as a family. Even Oda, the creator, will sometimes draw comparisons, like saying that Ussop is a bad influence on Luffy and Chopper because he’s like an older brother messing with younger siblings (despite Luffy being the captain, he is the third youngest crew member, other than Chopper and Sunny Go).
[Fufu]: You mentioning One Piece also reminded me of Fairy Tail. The amount of times they’ve went to war because a member of their nakama was harmed… Makarov even treats the guild members like his own children, and he will get pissed if you so much as scratch one of them.
[Fufu]: Case in point, the Phantom Lord arc, one of the early arcs and their first big war declaration. What started it? Three of the guild members were attacked and then displayed for all to see, with the Phantom Lord guild’s mark on them. Why was it started? Lucy’s father put out a job notice to bring Lucy back home, so Phantom Lord then used that as an excuse to also get rid of Fairy Tail. And after it’s all over, Fairy Tail still keeps Lucy as part of the guild since she’s essentially part of the family by that point.
The group was outside and not far from the airships so they all turned to look at each other.
"See you all in a week and a half!" Ruby said next to Yang who threw them a peace sign.
"Yep." Ren said with a sigh next to Nora who was bouncing around ready to leave.
"Have fun." Jaune said to Ruby and Yang before turning to Ren. "Good luck." he whispered and Ren nodded his head in thanks.
Ren saw AJ looking depressed again and Blake stood next to him trying to comfort him. "Hey guys." Everyone looked at Ren. "We should do a group picture for the most caring person in our group."
[Fufu]: Which would be Ruby. Or Jaune. Or Pyrrha.
[Weiss]: The most caring… probably Pyrrha. She has the patience of a saint.
[Fufu]: True. Ruby is more innocent than anything, and Jaune’s just a big dork that wants to do his best.
He tilted his head towards AJ who went to deny the statement. "It's the least we could do."
"That's a bold statement." Weiss said.
"Yes but you of all people know its ([Kirby]: “IT’S” DAMMIT! WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE APOSTROPHE!) true." Ren said with a knowing smile.
[Kirby]: I’m starting to think fic!Ren has a crush on AJ.
[Fufu]: Or he just knows how to kiss his feet just right in order to stay alive and in AJ’s favour.
"Ya! Group picture!" Ruby cheered.
"Sure." Pyrrha said and her and Jaune walked over.
"Guys, really, I'm not." AJ said.
"You help all of us whenever there is a problem. You stole a cookie and gave it to Ruby when she was stressed about a test,
[Kirby]: This never happened.
you sparred with Yang when she needed to loosen up,
[Kirby]: Never happened.
the thing with Weiss,
[Kirby]: lol, no.
you helped Jaune a few times with his sword training,
[Kirby]: That was Pyrrha.
when you help us like that asking nothing in return its ([Kirby]: I don’t care anymore) hard to say you aren't the most caring one of all of us." Ren pointed out.
[Fufu]: Thank you kindly, author, for giving me more noodles! *omnom* And the thing is, the show had time skips that you could’ve used to show us these moments that you are describing. Yes, we’ve seen your attempts at original content, and it’s clear that you can’t really write all that well. Maybe with more practise, but I’m getting off topic. The point is that you could’ve actually have shown us these things happening with those time skips. You could’ve actually developed AJ with those time skips. But nope, you limited yourself to staying with the show’s own timeline and scenes.
"Come on AJ, you know you are." Blake said locking her right arm with his left.
"I know, I just wish he wouldn't point it out." AJ whispered blushing at the attention.
[Weiss]: Isn’t he just so humble.
"Wait, who's gonna take the picture?" Weiss asked.
"No! Someone's gonna have to be out of the picture!?" Ruby asked saddened by the thought.
"I can help with that." Ozpin said walking in front of them with his cane and mug.
[Fufu]: Ninjapin!
[Kirby]: He’ll take your picture if you make a deal with him. You can iron out the details later, or just give him your body to use as a puppet, he’s not picky. Until then, he’ll be watching you. He’ll be waaatchiiiiing yooooooou!
[Fufu]: I called it in the third or fourth chapter; Vale doesn’t have a set legal age, so AJ’s fair game for stoner!Ozpin!
[Weiss]: You two are so very odd.
[Fufu]: We’re fangirls, what else needs to be said?
"Ozpin?" AJ said surprised.
"Would you really be willing to take the picture sir?" Jaune asked.
"Of course." Ozpin said with a nod and put his mug down to take out his Scroll.
[Fufu]: His own Scroll? Not anyone elses? What will he do with that picture…
[Kirby]: Probably use photoshop to switch everyone’s heads. That’s what I do.
"Alright everyone."
Blake stood with AJ in the middle, Ruby to his right and Jaune to his left after Blake, Yang after Ruby, holding her little sis in a headlock, Pyrrha after Jaune, Weiss after Yang at the far left end of the picture, Ren on the far right of the picture with Nora on his shoulders. Smiles on everyone's faces regardless.
[Fufu]: In that case, we didn’t need details of where they were all positioned.
They would see each other like this again in just less than two weeks and continue school and training with a new semester, but while they were all just happy and enjoying the moment, their enemies were plotting, Torchwich and Cinder Fall would not just stop after the failure at the shipyard, not by a long shot.
[Fufu]: Well that’s quite the Mood Whiplash. And in the same sentence. It doesn’t work.
[Kirby]: Ya, he doesn’t elaborate on that this chapter, so it doesn’t need to be there.
[Fufu]: Also, using Cinder’s name seems really out of left field. Because the author insists on keeping everything in third person focused on AJ, we don’t have the luxury of seeing other points of view, unless they talk about AJ. So we don’t get to see the Stinger the first volume had which actually introduced Cinder. Honestly, if I were reading this story completely blind, as in I’ve-never-seen-RWBY-blind, this mention here would confuse the fuck out of me because who is this Cinder person? Fortunately I have seen the show, but what about other people?
[Weiss]: Wait, who is Cinder?
[Kirby]: Not important, dearie. Don’t think on it.
A few more laughs and farewells left Jaune, Pyrrha, Blake, and AJ walking back to the school. The group were all looking at the picture which Ozpin had sent to them.
[Kirby]: He had printed it out, folded it into a paper airplane, and then threw it out his window! It glided across the campus before landing at their feet. The judges gave him ten points for style, but only two for the landing, as he was aiming for AJ’s head.
'I think there are… 16 different ways to combine our names into a team name.' AJ thought. 'Never mind there are a LOT more ways! Well then… hmm…'
[Fufu]: Why even worry about this? Is this gonna come back?
[Kirby]: Nope.
[Fufu]: So this is a Big Lipped Alligator Moment?
[Kirby]: Aye.
"You look deep in thought, what are you thinking?" Blake asked, bringing him out of his thoughts.
"Oh, I just for some reason started thinking of a way to make the four of us into a team, but there are so many ways to combine our initials." AJ said going into his thoughts again.
"You're making a team name out of us?" Blake asked smiling at the silly thought. AJ nodded.
"JAPB… JABP… I have no idea." AJ said giving up. "Too much to think about right now."
[Kirby]: *whispers* Team Peanut Butter And Jelly.
The next day was the first day of the break and the cafeteria was quiet to say the least with many of the students leaving to see family and or friends for the break.
"Almost as quiet as the library here." AJ pointed out.
"The library isn't quiet when the others are playing that board game though." Blake said sitting next to him.
"Ya, I enjoy the game and all but I don't get why they bring it to the library." AJ said.
"I know right!" Jaune said sitting across from them.
"It is rather disruptive for everyone else." Pyrrha said annoyed by the thought.
[Fufu]: …? Suddenly everyone’s turned into Ren?
"Hey, since the library is actually really quiet, wanna go there after?" Jaune asked. The two Faunus agreed.
"No, Jaune, we're going to the roof to train after this." Pyrrha ordered.
"Aww…" Jaune said depressingly.
Those four didn't bond as much as you would expect.
[Fufu]: Then what was the point of this entire scene? In fact, why tell us this, when you can actually show us this? You do not have to stick exclusively to the show’s timeline. All those weeks that are skipped in the show can be used by yourself to actually develop AJ and his relations with others.
They bonded, sure, but mostly the two pairs bonded, Blake and AJ were always in the library or their dorms, while Jaune and Pyrrha spent their time training. AJ had to find extra time to try and use Dust again as well. He first tried to hold and use Dust but the Energy he has turns the crystal white until he releases the crystal. He realized this shouldn't be able to work because he can't just get rid of the Energy he has but he told Weiss he would try so he would simply continue to try different things till he figured it out.
[Weiss]: That is so dangerous, I don’t even know where to start.
[Fufu]: This entire scene was pointless, and this last paragraph even moreso. I legit don’t know if I would prefer being told AJ tried the thing but the thing wasn’t working out, or if I was shown him trying but failing.
AJ was currently standing in Ozpin's office waiting patiently for Ozpin to begin.
"Ozpin… it's the last day of the break, and my friends are hanging out without me right now so may we please start soon?" AJ asked politely.
Ozpin took a sip from his mug. "Of course, I just wanted to tell you that I still have no leads on how to get you back to your world
[Kirby]: Ozpin: “However, Dr. Oobleck did discover another world entirely where everyone is a candy coloured pony. I have confiscated his coffee until further notice for… research.”
and… well I was wondering… Do you even want to go back anymore? You and Blake are getting along better than ever and well, you're getting along great with all of them now. Do you really want me to contin-"
"No."
[Fufu]: Of course he doesn’t want to leave. Nevermind all that stuff that I pointed out in chapter 5 about how his parents could be frantically searching for him and could be worried sick to death, thinking all sorts have happened to their son. I mean, let’s just ignore that his hypothetical parents could be panicking that AJ here has been kidnapped and forced into a human trafficking ring; that he could’ve been forced to be a sex slave cause some scumbag might have a thing for teenage boys; that he might’ve gotten lost in the wilderness and has slowly died of dehydration or starvation or he got mauled by an animal; that he might’ve gotten amnesia and has been taken in by another family while they just want to know that he’s safe.
[Fufu]: I repeat; I dislike self-insert fics that do this. Fics that give no thought to what the families of their self-insert would be going through with them gone missing simply because the author wants to have fun in a canon verse.
Ozpin actually looked shocked, which was a lot of emotion for him.
[Kirby]: Because he is a robot.
[Weiss]: That would be an android and they’re not programed to have feelings.
"I don't want to leave sir." AJ said depressingly. "As much as I will miss my family and friends, I have new ones here, I couldn't be happier here.
[Fufu]: I repeat, just cause you’re happy, doesn’t mean your family and friend (singular, since you yourself said you only had one good friend) are missing you.
You can just stop wasting your time searching, you likely weren't gonna find anything anyway."
"Are you sure of this? That is a very big decision you are making." Ozpin said.
"I'm sure!" AJ said immediately.
Ozpin thought for a minute. "If you are sure, you may go join your friends now."
"Thank you sir." AJ said with a slight bow of his upper body before leaving.
[Kirby]: He thought he saw money on the ground, but it was just a bag of green stuff. Probably Ozpin’s.
'There he goes again, calling me sir, he even bowed, I suppose he shows respect to show his immense thanks. He treats me like an equal otherwise.'
[Fufu]: That...is bullshit, both from a logical point of view and from this story’s reasoning.
AJ spent the walk over to the cafeteria happy as could be. He didn't have to leave them anymore, he was here to stay. As he was getting close to the cafeteria he saw everyone running from it and he was pretty sure he saw Yang go flying out the roof and into the sky.
[Fufu]: Wait a second, this scene started with AJ saying it's the last day of break. Unless students are coming back early, Yang and Ruby shouldn’t be here. And the food fight shouldn’t be happening, cause I doubt everyone in both groups would come back early.
"What a place to stay." AJ said out loud shaking his head in amusement before running to the cafeteria.
And we will end it there! Finished before I even post chapter 7! I will not be taking a break between volumes one and two, I just wanna keep typing my fic! Yes I made Blake and the OC into the "we clearly like each other but won't admit it" thing, also known as "we look cute together but wont admit it".
[Fufu]: That’s actually a shallow way of putting it. I doubt it's legit an aesthetic thing. Yes, people get crushes on other people partly cause they might look like a hot piece of ass, but more goes into relationships than that.
Posting this Monday like I said I would and I think I might even post the next chapter on Friday since I always post Friday, except last week. Anyway, hope you enjoyed! Have a great week!

[Fufu]: I’d love to grant chapter 9’s wishes and ignore its existence. But unfortunately...
"Now we just have to get Pyrrha and Jaune together." Nora whispered to Ren while Jaune was talking to Ruby and Pyrrha talking to Weiss.
"We shouldn't interfere with our leader's love life." Ren whispered.
"Arkos needs to happen already!" Nora yell-whispered.
"Did someone say shipping?"
"AH!"
[Fufu]: Wow, that really explains a lot. Also, you cannot tell me that you are legit making Arkos a thing in your fic by this point, when the show is probably gonna stretch this out for yonks.
[Weiss]: I swear most of words you people use are made up.

[Fufu]: So, that was chapter 8. Weiss, what did you think?
[Weiss]: This was terrible.
[Fufu]: Trust me my dear, it's been worse and it will probably get worse as well. In my honest opinion, this chapter was actually not as rage inducing as others have been. Though I regret to say that that might’ve because this fic!Weiss was “reformed”, so there was less for AJ to rage over, which meant less for us to counter-rage over.
[Weiss]: I will say that I’m glad this AJ person is not real. But it was interesting, for me at least, to see Blake’s side of the night at the docks. I think I might like to talk to her about a few things.
[Fufu]: Indeed. Well, it has been a pleasure, Weiss. We are both extremely sorry for putting you through this, but also very grateful to have you.
[Weiss]: It’s been… an experience. But thank you, as well.
[Fufu]: Yes, and now, we shall send you off to a much more enjoyable experience. Anywhere you’d like to go or anything you’d like to do? We can send you.
[Weiss]: I’d like to go back to Beacon, it’s been a long day and I have a lot to think about. *whispers* And homework to do.
[Fufu]: Very well then. And take this special gift from the both of us; a magic coffee cup. Never again shall your coffees go cold!
[Weiss]: Uh, thank you? *accepts gift somewhat sceptically*
[Kirby]: See you again sometime Weiss!
[Weiss]: ...Sure.

"Thanks! You did good too! And what an awesome semblance you have!" Ruby said.
[Fufu]: It's really not.
"No kidding! You copy peoples weapons!? That's pretty badass." Yang said as the rest of team RWBY, and team JNPR walked up.
[Fufu]: No, what you do is badass, Yang. What Weiss can do is badass. This is cheap. And lazy.
"So that's what you meant by multiple fighting styles!" Weiss realized. "I thought glyphs were your semblance?"
"No, I can barely use glyphs besides the simple one that acts like a wall, still helps but I can't do much more than that and maybe a speed glyph." AJ explained.
[Weiss]: *sighs and rubs the bridge of her nose in frustration*
"How did you know how to use her weapon though?" Jaune asked.
"Well Ruby is crazy about weapons, me , I'm secretly wondering what that weapon has been through. When I copy a weapon I learn about all the fights its ([Kirby]: “it’s”) been in and learn how to use it all in an instant, it's a pretty incredible feeling." AJ said with a smile.
[Fufu]: Translation: I don’t have to work to learn this stuff. I just instantly know it cause the author is lazy and doesn’t want to show me actually working for something.
"Alright that's just freaking awesome!" Yang said with a laugh.
"So there you go! That's my semblance!" AJ said.
Weiss grabbed Ruby and pulled her away from the group and whispered something to her. They eventually turned to the others.
[Weiss]: Please say that Not-Me has convinced Not-Ruby to assist in throwing this absurdity out of Beacon and back to preschool, where he belongs.
"Sorry guys, we gotta go to our dorm for a team meeting, see ya! Come on AJ." Ruby said.
They went to their dorm.
[Fufu]: This author really fascinates me; sometimes, he can put so much detail into a sentence to the point where we cry for him to cut them down cause not everything is needed, and then there are times when he does this, and I actually want some more info. It doesn’t have to be a full on story-within-a-story of what they saw and how they took each individual step, but a little more would be nice.
"So I'm guessing this is about my-" AJ started as he was the first to walk into team RWBY's dorm.
"Happy Birthday!" They all cheered.
[Fufu]: *deadpanned* Oh wow, I totes wasn’t expecting that. God Kirby, did you see such a plot twist coming? And in the same chapter as we find out the information that AJ’s birthday had passed and he didn’t like birthdays. And Weiss, surely they haven’t gotten him presents even though he said he didn’t like getting presents. Wow. *single clap*
[Kirby]:
"Ah, so this is about that." AJ said.
"Cheer up you! We aren't letting you just not celebrate your birthday! So we got you some presents!" Yang said. They were all smiling at him so he wasn't gonna say no.
"Alrighty then. What did you get?" He asked.
"I got you a custom headset, you said you like music so…" Ruby said as she handed him the headset. Dark grey with his symbol
[Fufu]: ...What even is his symbol? Did I miss this little tidbit when I skimmed over all those long descriptive paragraphs?
on the sides in white, the circle with wings inside that touch the edge of the circle. The symbol is on the back of his black shirt but its ([Kirby]: “it’s” again) hard to see behind the cloak.
[Fufu]: Ah, so we hadn’t seen his symbol before this point, since you’ve essentially told us, “Oh yeah, he has one.”
[Kirby]: Why a pair of wings though? Why stop there? You could add cat ears, a tail, a sword, and a dick; that would sum up AJ pretty well.
[Fufu]: Yep. So much going on in the one picture. Also, this description is legit so shit, I actually got confused for a moment there and thought the wings being mentioned were some sort of plastic wings coming off the headphones themselves. Which likewise led to me thinking, “You haven’t told us what his symbol is.”
[Weiss]: And the symbols you’re referring to are called “sigils.”
"Wow, thanks Ruby." he said as he patted her on the shoulder.
"Consider that from the both of us since I had to pay for it but Ruby had the idea of it." Yang said. He nodded in thanks to her.
[Kirby]: I swear that this exact scene was in Twilight; Bella got a radio for her truck from the Cullens.
[Fufu]: Considering the author has made AJ a furry-- I mean Faunus, I wouldn’t be surprised if the author is Team Jacob or something.
Weiss stepped forward with a familiar white briefcase. "I got you a few different types of Dust to try out. You said you wanted to use it."
"Wow, thank you Weiss." AJ said with an overdramatic bow.
"You better know how to use it by the time I get back from break." Weiss demanded.
[Weiss]: Is this Not-Me insane!? Dust in its raw form is an extremely volatile substance, and should never be given to people who don’t know how to treat it responsibly! He could blow a hole in the side of the school by accident!
"Ya, I'll try, it didn't really work last time." AJ said sheepishly. 'Stupid Energy neutralizing any Dust I touch.'
[Fufu]: In any other situation, I’d probably be glad that there is a downside to this additional feature that AJ has. But here, this is stupid. If his Energy neutralises Dust, then that makes the Dust he’s stitched into his clothing useless, as well as any Dust powered weapons that others use since he gets pretty close to people. Also, if this is a thing, then the Dust explosion from chapter 3 shouldn’t have been as supercharged as it was. It shouldn’t have even happened. Not to mention that we’ve learnt this so late in the story that it feels shoehorned in to show that one of AJ’s abilities is flawed and that he isn’t oh so perfect.
"And what did you get Blake? Are you gonna kiss him?" Yang asked with a smile.
[Weiss]: Please tell me that doesn’t happen.
[Fufu]: *skims ahead slightly* ...Doesn’t-ish. Depends on what the individual would think of this upcoming scene.
Blake blushed and walked up to him. AJ blushed as well thinking she might actually do it. She hugged him suddenly.
"I just want to say thank you, thank you so much for being there for me, for all of us." Blake said.
AJ returned the hug and smiled. "Of course, you guys are always there for me, I can never thank you guys enough for that."
Everyone "aww'd" at that and he glared at them with his eyes glowing over Blake's shoulder and they all looked away from them avoiding his gaze.
[Fufu]: See that?! They actually show support for this shit and his instant reaction is to look angry and essentially say, “Shut up or else.” What the fuck is wrong with you? It isn’t helped by the fact that you actually have the power to force them to shut up.
"Even so," Blake said pulling out of the hug but still with her arms around him, she quickly kissed him on the cheek before letting go. "Thank you." She said before backing up to where the others were.
[Weiss]: I feel disgusted on Blake’s behalf.
When Weiss, Yang, and Ruby looked back up they saw AJ blushing immensely and holding his left hand to his cheek with his mouth open slightly, he saw them looking at him and he looked away from all of them.
"Wait, you did kiss him?" Yang asked actually surprised. Blake blushed more than she already was and looked away. Yang started laughing. "Congratulations birthday boy!" She said before continuing her laughter.
"It was just a thank you." Blake mumbled.
"It's not even my birthday anymore." AJ mumbled without looking at them.
[Fufu]: *overly syrupy voice* D’awww look at the two of theeeeem. They totes have crushes on each other but they won’t admit it. Ain’t it adooooooooowable?!
[Weiss]: No.
After more laughing and teasing they met up with JNPR and started heading towards the airships out of Beacon. All they talked about was their plans for the break except AJ who lagged behind everyone, Ren noticed this and slowed down to walk beside him.
[Fufu]: No Ren, you’re supposed to speed up dammit! Quick before the airship flies off and leaves you with him!
[Kirby]: I swear if the author plays the Monty card again...
"Are you alright?" Ren asked.
"I'm fine, I just… I'm not going anywhere for the break, I'm staying here and I'm gonna keep training, I'm just gonna be a bit lonely is all, but I hope you all have fun." AJ said with an honest smile at the end.
"Actually, Jaune and Pyrrha are staying to train as well." Ren pointed out.
"Oh, really?" AJ asked.
"Ya, and Blake said she's staying because she doesn't really have anywhere to be or family to see so she'll just keep an eye on their dorm."
[Fufu]: Question: How does Ren know this? Unless Blake told him as a fellow quiet stoic, though even then, they aren’t especially close. Though admittedly, that is a crack ship I could maybe get behind… *thinks about it*
[Kirby]: I think Nora would have a few objections.
[Fufu]: Maybe, though I guess personally, I’d see Nora as the type to pull an I Want My Beloved To Be Happy.
[Kirby]: That’s too sad, let’s not do that.
[Fufu]: Yeah, let’s just keep going. Though my question still stands.
[Weiss]: I would like to know why Not-Me is going home, I also stay at Beacon during breaks.
[Fufu]: I think it can once again be said that, despite this fic Weiss now succumbing to AJ’s control and being a good little Snow Angel, she’s still on thin ice and isn’t necessarily in the author’s good books. And the author still isn’t aware of how bad your backstory is nor some of the more popular fan theories about your home life.
[Weiss]: *sarcastically* Excellent, so it’s not just the tabloids, now even people in other worlds are making up stories. Fantastic.
[Fufu]: And out of respect, we’re not going to pry while you’re here with us.
Ren said and AJ visually brightened in demeanor. "I have to say, despite all the colorful members of the group, you are the most… interesting one."
"I won't deny I'm interesting but I'm hardly the most interesting." AJ said with a chuckle.
[Kirby]: Jaune is more interesting than you.
[Fufu]: Ren’s grown up with Nora. Unless growing up together lessened the impact of her colourful personality, he’s hardly going to find anyone else overly interesting after Nora.
"The big detail about you that shows more than the others is how much you care for all of us, even me and the rest of JNPR, and you seem to forgive them in the end no matter how bad they wrong you."
[Kirby]: Are you talking about the fight with Weiss? Because Ren shouldn’t know about that.
[Fufu]: Yes, AJ truly does care about Team JNPR, given how he victim blamed Jaune while he was getting picked on, how often he talks about and spends time with the group other than just the normal everyday lunchtime seating arrangement, and not to mention when he showed concern for Ren back when the author decided to fit in a twisted memorial paragraph for Monty. I mean, he let them leave without asking if he was okay, nor did he ask if he was okay when they next met up. Yep. Truly, they are blood brothers.
"Friends are the most important thing to me."
[Kirby]: AJ: “Until they say something I don’t like, then they need to be corrected.”
[Fufu]: And yet he only had one friend in his original world. If friends were so important to him, he’d have more. Not to mention how he gives Neko the shaft, despite saying at one point that he considered Neko a friend. ...In fact, Neko hasn’t been around for a while, has he?
"That really shows with how protective you are. The one time Cardin tried to hurt Jaune, not just bully him, you almost broke his legs.
[Kirby]: When did this happen?
You also literally get between us and Cardin when he walks by, no one see's it except me but I see you suddenly move to another part of the group and glare at Cardin as he walks by.
[Kirby]: When did this happen?
You even hugged Weiss when she was depressed, no one else would have done that.
[Kirby]: We already established that this didn’t happen. And I’m pretty sure Ruby or Yang would be all too willing to hug a sad teammate.
[Fufu]: So many Noodle Incidents man. Want a bowl, Kirby? Weiss?
[Weiss]: I- what?
[Fufu]: It's just noodles. Oodles and oodles of noodles, born from all these Noodle Incidents.
We all see each other as friends and comrades and we would fight for each other, but you and Jaune are the ones that I'm sure would die for us if you thought you needed to."
[Kirby]: Huh, the author’s actually right about something. I’ve mentioned before that Jaune does see himself as expendable compared to his teammates. He would die for them.
[Weiss]: *eyes widen in surprise* *frowns in thought*
[Fufu]: ...I’m actually sort of upset that I can’t call this an Informed Attribute on AJ’s part since we saw in this very chapter that he gained his Evil Upgrade because Ruby got hurt and could’ve been killed, as stupid of a situation as it was.
"I hope it never comes to that though."
"I hope so as well. But what I'm getting at here is that, you don't treat us like friends, more like…" Ren searched for the word, he found one but wasn't sure if he should say it.
[Fufu]: Good, because it's completely the wrong word. Try ‘slaves’ or ‘puppets’. It fits the author better since he’s writing the story, but AJ is his self-insert so...
"Family. You are all family to me." AJ said with a smile. 'Since I don't have any to speak of here.'
"We are a really weird family then." Blake said with a smile as she fell back in step with them.
[Fufu]: Not necessarily. Yes, groups of friends can come to regard one another as a kind of family if they’ve been together a long time and they truly know each other. To use an example, I personally envision the Kalos Gym Leaders like a sort of family-esque group. Not to mention that there have been weirder families.
[Kirby]: The Strawhat Crew from One Piece are often viewed as a family. Even Oda, the creator, will sometimes draw comparisons, like saying that Ussop is a bad influence on Luffy and Chopper because he’s like an older brother messing with younger siblings (despite Luffy being the captain, he is the third youngest crew member, other than Chopper and Sunny Go).
[Fufu]: You mentioning One Piece also reminded me of Fairy Tail. The amount of times they’ve went to war because a member of their nakama was harmed… Makarov even treats the guild members like his own children, and he will get pissed if you so much as scratch one of them.
[Fufu]: Case in point, the Phantom Lord arc, one of the early arcs and their first big war declaration. What started it? Three of the guild members were attacked and then displayed for all to see, with the Phantom Lord guild’s mark on them. Why was it started? Lucy’s father put out a job notice to bring Lucy back home, so Phantom Lord then used that as an excuse to also get rid of Fairy Tail. And after it’s all over, Fairy Tail still keeps Lucy as part of the guild since she’s essentially part of the family by that point.
The group was outside and not far from the airships so they all turned to look at each other.
"See you all in a week and a half!" Ruby said next to Yang who threw them a peace sign.
"Yep." Ren said with a sigh next to Nora who was bouncing around ready to leave.
"Have fun." Jaune said to Ruby and Yang before turning to Ren. "Good luck." he whispered and Ren nodded his head in thanks.
Ren saw AJ looking depressed again and Blake stood next to him trying to comfort him. "Hey guys." Everyone looked at Ren. "We should do a group picture for the most caring person in our group."
[Fufu]: Which would be Ruby. Or Jaune. Or Pyrrha.
[Weiss]: The most caring… probably Pyrrha. She has the patience of a saint.
[Fufu]: True. Ruby is more innocent than anything, and Jaune’s just a big dork that wants to do his best.
He tilted his head towards AJ who went to deny the statement. "It's the least we could do."
"That's a bold statement." Weiss said.
"Yes but you of all people know its ([Kirby]: “IT’S” DAMMIT! WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE APOSTROPHE!) true." Ren said with a knowing smile.
[Kirby]: I’m starting to think fic!Ren has a crush on AJ.
[Fufu]: Or he just knows how to kiss his feet just right in order to stay alive and in AJ’s favour.
"Ya! Group picture!" Ruby cheered.
"Sure." Pyrrha said and her and Jaune walked over.
"Guys, really, I'm not." AJ said.
"You help all of us whenever there is a problem. You stole a cookie and gave it to Ruby when she was stressed about a test,
[Kirby]: This never happened.
you sparred with Yang when she needed to loosen up,
[Kirby]: Never happened.

[Kirby]: lol, no.
you helped Jaune a few times with his sword training,
[Kirby]: That was Pyrrha.

[Fufu]: Thank you kindly, author, for giving me more noodles! *omnom* And the thing is, the show had time skips that you could’ve used to show us these moments that you are describing. Yes, we’ve seen your attempts at original content, and it’s clear that you can’t really write all that well. Maybe with more practise, but I’m getting off topic. The point is that you could’ve actually have shown us these things happening with those time skips. You could’ve actually developed AJ with those time skips. But nope, you limited yourself to staying with the show’s own timeline and scenes.
"Come on AJ, you know you are." Blake said locking her right arm with his left.
"I know, I just wish he wouldn't point it out." AJ whispered blushing at the attention.
[Weiss]: Isn’t he just so humble.
"Wait, who's gonna take the picture?" Weiss asked.
"No! Someone's gonna have to be out of the picture!?" Ruby asked saddened by the thought.
"I can help with that." Ozpin said walking in front of them with his cane and mug.
[Fufu]: Ninjapin!
[Kirby]: He’ll take your picture if you make a deal with him. You can iron out the details later, or just give him your body to use as a puppet, he’s not picky. Until then, he’ll be watching you. He’ll be waaatchiiiiing yooooooou!
[Fufu]: I called it in the third or fourth chapter; Vale doesn’t have a set legal age, so AJ’s fair game for stoner!Ozpin!
[Weiss]: You two are so very odd.
[Fufu]: We’re fangirls, what else needs to be said?
"Ozpin?" AJ said surprised.
"Would you really be willing to take the picture sir?" Jaune asked.
"Of course." Ozpin said with a nod and put his mug down to take out his Scroll.
[Fufu]: His own Scroll? Not anyone elses? What will he do with that picture…
[Kirby]: Probably use photoshop to switch everyone’s heads. That’s what I do.
"Alright everyone."
Blake stood with AJ in the middle, Ruby to his right and Jaune to his left after Blake, Yang after Ruby, holding her little sis in a headlock, Pyrrha after Jaune, Weiss after Yang at the far left end of the picture, Ren on the far right of the picture with Nora on his shoulders. Smiles on everyone's faces regardless.
[Fufu]: In that case, we didn’t need details of where they were all positioned.
They would see each other like this again in just less than two weeks and continue school and training with a new semester, but while they were all just happy and enjoying the moment, their enemies were plotting, Torchwich and Cinder Fall would not just stop after the failure at the shipyard, not by a long shot.
[Fufu]: Well that’s quite the Mood Whiplash. And in the same sentence. It doesn’t work.
[Kirby]: Ya, he doesn’t elaborate on that this chapter, so it doesn’t need to be there.
[Fufu]: Also, using Cinder’s name seems really out of left field. Because the author insists on keeping everything in third person focused on AJ, we don’t have the luxury of seeing other points of view, unless they talk about AJ. So we don’t get to see the Stinger the first volume had which actually introduced Cinder. Honestly, if I were reading this story completely blind, as in I’ve-never-seen-RWBY-blind, this mention here would confuse the fuck out of me because who is this Cinder person? Fortunately I have seen the show, but what about other people?
[Weiss]: Wait, who is Cinder?
[Kirby]: Not important, dearie. Don’t think on it.
A few more laughs and farewells left Jaune, Pyrrha, Blake, and AJ walking back to the school. The group were all looking at the picture which Ozpin had sent to them.
[Kirby]: He had printed it out, folded it into a paper airplane, and then threw it out his window! It glided across the campus before landing at their feet. The judges gave him ten points for style, but only two for the landing, as he was aiming for AJ’s head.
'I think there are… 16 different ways to combine our names into a team name.' AJ thought. 'Never mind there are a LOT more ways! Well then… hmm…'
[Fufu]: Why even worry about this? Is this gonna come back?
[Kirby]: Nope.
[Fufu]: So this is a Big Lipped Alligator Moment?
[Kirby]: Aye.
"You look deep in thought, what are you thinking?" Blake asked, bringing him out of his thoughts.
"Oh, I just for some reason started thinking of a way to make the four of us into a team, but there are so many ways to combine our initials." AJ said going into his thoughts again.
"You're making a team name out of us?" Blake asked smiling at the silly thought. AJ nodded.
"JAPB… JABP… I have no idea." AJ said giving up. "Too much to think about right now."
[Kirby]: *whispers* Team Peanut Butter And Jelly.
The next day was the first day of the break and the cafeteria was quiet to say the least with many of the students leaving to see family and or friends for the break.
"Almost as quiet as the library here." AJ pointed out.
"The library isn't quiet when the others are playing that board game though." Blake said sitting next to him.
"Ya, I enjoy the game and all but I don't get why they bring it to the library." AJ said.
"I know right!" Jaune said sitting across from them.
"It is rather disruptive for everyone else." Pyrrha said annoyed by the thought.
[Fufu]: …? Suddenly everyone’s turned into Ren?
"Hey, since the library is actually really quiet, wanna go there after?" Jaune asked. The two Faunus agreed.
"No, Jaune, we're going to the roof to train after this." Pyrrha ordered.
"Aww…" Jaune said depressingly.
Those four didn't bond as much as you would expect.
[Fufu]: Then what was the point of this entire scene? In fact, why tell us this, when you can actually show us this? You do not have to stick exclusively to the show’s timeline. All those weeks that are skipped in the show can be used by yourself to actually develop AJ and his relations with others.
They bonded, sure, but mostly the two pairs bonded, Blake and AJ were always in the library or their dorms, while Jaune and Pyrrha spent their time training. AJ had to find extra time to try and use Dust again as well. He first tried to hold and use Dust but the Energy he has turns the crystal white until he releases the crystal. He realized this shouldn't be able to work because he can't just get rid of the Energy he has but he told Weiss he would try so he would simply continue to try different things till he figured it out.
[Weiss]: That is so dangerous, I don’t even know where to start.
[Fufu]: This entire scene was pointless, and this last paragraph even moreso. I legit don’t know if I would prefer being told AJ tried the thing but the thing wasn’t working out, or if I was shown him trying but failing.
AJ was currently standing in Ozpin's office waiting patiently for Ozpin to begin.
"Ozpin… it's the last day of the break, and my friends are hanging out without me right now so may we please start soon?" AJ asked politely.
Ozpin took a sip from his mug. "Of course, I just wanted to tell you that I still have no leads on how to get you back to your world
[Kirby]: Ozpin: “However, Dr. Oobleck did discover another world entirely where everyone is a candy coloured pony. I have confiscated his coffee until further notice for… research.”
and… well I was wondering… Do you even want to go back anymore? You and Blake are getting along better than ever and well, you're getting along great with all of them now. Do you really want me to contin-"
"No."
[Fufu]: Of course he doesn’t want to leave. Nevermind all that stuff that I pointed out in chapter 5 about how his parents could be frantically searching for him and could be worried sick to death, thinking all sorts have happened to their son. I mean, let’s just ignore that his hypothetical parents could be panicking that AJ here has been kidnapped and forced into a human trafficking ring; that he could’ve been forced to be a sex slave cause some scumbag might have a thing for teenage boys; that he might’ve gotten lost in the wilderness and has slowly died of dehydration or starvation or he got mauled by an animal; that he might’ve gotten amnesia and has been taken in by another family while they just want to know that he’s safe.
[Fufu]: I repeat; I dislike self-insert fics that do this. Fics that give no thought to what the families of their self-insert would be going through with them gone missing simply because the author wants to have fun in a canon verse.
Ozpin actually looked shocked, which was a lot of emotion for him.
[Kirby]: Because he is a robot.
[Weiss]: That would be an android and they’re not programed to have feelings.

[Fufu]: I repeat, just cause you’re happy, doesn’t mean your family and friend (singular, since you yourself said you only had one good friend) are missing you.

"Are you sure of this? That is a very big decision you are making." Ozpin said.
"I'm sure!" AJ said immediately.
Ozpin thought for a minute. "If you are sure, you may go join your friends now."
"Thank you sir." AJ said with a slight bow of his upper body before leaving.
[Kirby]: He thought he saw money on the ground, but it was just a bag of green stuff. Probably Ozpin’s.
'There he goes again, calling me sir, he even bowed, I suppose he shows respect to show his immense thanks. He treats me like an equal otherwise.'
[Fufu]: That...is bullshit, both from a logical point of view and from this story’s reasoning.
AJ spent the walk over to the cafeteria happy as could be. He didn't have to leave them anymore, he was here to stay. As he was getting close to the cafeteria he saw everyone running from it and he was pretty sure he saw Yang go flying out the roof and into the sky.
[Fufu]: Wait a second, this scene started with AJ saying it's the last day of break. Unless students are coming back early, Yang and Ruby shouldn’t be here. And the food fight shouldn’t be happening, cause I doubt everyone in both groups would come back early.
"What a place to stay." AJ said out loud shaking his head in amusement before running to the cafeteria.
And we will end it there! Finished before I even post chapter 7! I will not be taking a break between volumes one and two, I just wanna keep typing my fic! Yes I made Blake and the OC into the "we clearly like each other but won't admit it" thing, also known as "we look cute together but wont admit it".
[Fufu]: That’s actually a shallow way of putting it. I doubt it's legit an aesthetic thing. Yes, people get crushes on other people partly cause they might look like a hot piece of ass, but more goes into relationships than that.

"Now we just have to get Pyrrha and Jaune together." Nora whispered to Ren while Jaune was talking to Ruby and Pyrrha talking to Weiss.
"We shouldn't interfere with our leader's love life." Ren whispered.
"Arkos needs to happen already!" Nora yell-whispered.
"Did someone say shipping?"
"AH!"
[Fufu]: Wow, that really explains a lot. Also, you cannot tell me that you are legit making Arkos a thing in your fic by this point, when the show is probably gonna stretch this out for yonks.
[Weiss]: I swear most of words you people use are made up.

[Fufu]: So, that was chapter 8. Weiss, what did you think?
[Weiss]: This was terrible.
[Fufu]: Trust me my dear, it's been worse and it will probably get worse as well. In my honest opinion, this chapter was actually not as rage inducing as others have been. Though I regret to say that that might’ve because this fic!Weiss was “reformed”, so there was less for AJ to rage over, which meant less for us to counter-rage over.
[Weiss]: I will say that I’m glad this AJ person is not real. But it was interesting, for me at least, to see Blake’s side of the night at the docks. I think I might like to talk to her about a few things.
[Fufu]: Indeed. Well, it has been a pleasure, Weiss. We are both extremely sorry for putting you through this, but also very grateful to have you.
[Weiss]: It’s been… an experience. But thank you, as well.
[Fufu]: Yes, and now, we shall send you off to a much more enjoyable experience. Anywhere you’d like to go or anything you’d like to do? We can send you.
[Weiss]: I’d like to go back to Beacon, it’s been a long day and I have a lot to think about. *whispers* And homework to do.
