hey, have you seen/are you planning to see 'the exorcism of emily rose'? (just cause i think of you and your love/hate relationship with 'the exorcist' every time it's mentioned.)

I kinda want to see that. I liked the exorcist (as a movie) but thought that it lacked slightly in the creepyness department. I figure with the improvement in special effects they might do a good job with this one. Also, you know... that whole "based on real events" thing.

Also, re: Cat With Hands: I agree with her. That was freaking creepy. Doubly so since I was expecting some kind of HUMOUROUS entertainment. Like Terry Tate, office linebacker. Or the Trunk Monkey ads.

if that's the reason you want to see it, then you maybe shouldn't - genie can correct me if i'm wrong, but i read an interview saying that they deliberately WEREN'T trying to do the same thing as the exorcist, but make it more 'realistic' (which i took to mean that they're not so much with stuff like the pea soup vomit and head-spinning).
