Opening band for the Aquabats was the Phenomanauts; they were surprisingly a very good show - they all wore pieces of robot gear and they had a tee-pee gun which shot toilet paper everywhere and was pretty epic.  They had a pretty good skanking pit going but some asshole on the outer ring was tripping people.  One of the girls I was with elbowed ( Read more... )

I think I spent the best $10 I have ever spent in my life yesterday on a book called Zombie Haiku.

It's a book about an unassuming poet who starts writing just before the zombie apocalypse, then gets turned into a zombie and continues writing poetry as a zombie.

and when i touch the top of my head, it hurts the inside of my right ear, really bad... wtf

for  the record.. donating blood and then going out drinking was a wonderful idea, i recommend it.

Needless to say.. Iron Maiden kicked a metric ton of ass.  There was a lot of fireworks, flames, costumes, eddie, and even though bruce dickinson is wayyy old he has crazy energy.  The drummer looked like he was gonna die from a heart attack but he was having a good time and rocked it harrrrd ( Read more... )
