[There is an updated ooc profile for Fugue
here]
There is a guide waiting for those who are born in Edensphere. He appears in the figure of an old man and calls himself Fugue.
The elderly man hunches ever so slightly; despite this, he is still about 184cm tall (approx. 6ft). He wears a loose but thick black cloak that drapes down to the floor. Its hood is pulled over his head in a manner that shadows his face, and the fabric bunches and pools at his chin and neck.
When one can see his face, he looks rather healthy for an old man. He doesn't so much appear frail or shabby as much as weathered--he's seen better days. Cloudy silver -sometimes gold; contacts, perhaps?- eyes peer out from beneath the hood, from within the shadows; they are dull and seemingly empty or emotionless. His beard and mustache are somewhat thick and mask over his lower face features. The white beard trails down to the man's waist.
The cloak parts slightly at the front, but the elder's vestments are also black and hard to see. One with a good eye can see that he wears his clothes with a decent fit over a surprisingly strong build--he's neither skinny nor round. However, one hand protrudes from the cloak and leans on a wooden walking stick.
His voice is not very raspy or harsh; rather, it is strong but quiet. But it sounds slightly forced, as if it isn't his real voice. The tone is neither warm nor cold but lacks a true feeling of concern.
This is the mysterious man, Fugue, who welcomes all to Edensphere.
----------
But that is just one of his disguises--the most popular one, called the "Old Man" and otherwise known as the elder.
His "true form" had been revealed as a younger man in his mid-twenties. He has long, raven black hair that is often tied back in a ponytail; his bangs are somewhat unkempt, and he's got a bit of stubble. The man has intense gold eyes with a powerful but lost gaze, indicating both confidence and confusion at the same time. Generally he likes to wear black, but given that it is too hot -or if he forgets himself for one reason or another- he'll dress differently.
Only a few seem to have observed the connection between the "Old Man" and this "true form".
