“Hi Yucchan…” greeted Hikaru, but then he swoops away and stays as far as he could from Yuina. The JUMP is relaxing in Keito’s home but what comes in between isn’t gonna be relaxing at all. Hirano Yuina is Yamada Ryosuke’s ‘secret’ girlfriend. Same just like Fujikawa Rin, Ryutaro’s girlfriend, they have to pretend that they’re just friends with these idols, and hide their through relationship just for the sake of Johnny’s rules. They hide this matter very well.
All eyes are spotted to Yuina, wondering what the hell is going on. Her eyes are red as if she just stopped crying, everything about her from head to toe looks terrible, maybe she didn’t get a well sleep last night.
“What’s wrong?” asked Yamada.
“What’s wrong? You tell me…” she looks fierceful.
“Huh? You’re the one who came like a crazy girl here…”
“Fine, answer this, who’s Hiramatsu Kanako?”
Yama looks a little bit surprise, he must know her.
“Kanako? She’s my friend…”
“Oh, your friend? Now explain these….!” She throws a stack of photos to Yama’s face, everyone in the room is shocked, no one dares to move away, or help picking up the photos.
Yama picks them one by one while examining each of them.
“Where did you get these?”
“Is that all you could say?” she starts crying.
The room is somehow quiet, it feels like dead silence a while.
Everyone knows the story in Yama and Yuina’s, she once cheated on Yama with a guy from Johnny’s too, Nakajima Kento. Yama didn’t show any emotion that time, and just forgave her. She regretted her affair, and got back with Yama, the case was then closed.
But here comes a new affair, which is on Yama now. Yabu starts conducting an escape for us, but then stops when they start again.
“She’s just a friend.. “ Yama starts explaining. His expression shows a thousand explanation and regret.
“Hah… Only intimate friends do these…” she grabs photos stack in Yama’s hand and spreads them all over the room.
We can’t help not looking, they’re everywhere. Rin picks one, Ryu gets two, all of them see what’s behind this incident. Yama and Kanako’s faces are all over, hugging, holding hands, embracing each other, like all couples do.
“Oh shit,” heard one expression from who knows who.
Rin is walking closer to Ryu, he reaches to comfort her.
Yuto and Keito are standing beside Rin, looks like they’re sheltering her.
“She’s nothing to me…” Yama continues explaining.
“What? I’m nothing?” Kanako shows herself from the entrance door.
“I brought her with me, to clear this up.” Yuina explains.
“What are you doing?” Yama looks extremely shocked. “Why are you judging me like this?” he begins to rage out.
“Judging you? It’s just what you’ve done…”
“I made one mistake, and I’m dragged in this kinda shit.. People make mistakes!”
“You said that you had a rehearsal but you were out with her, right?”
“Yes, I did, I lied.”
“And it wasn’t the only time you lied. How long has this been done?”
“I don’t know, but it was just for fun..”
“For fun?” Kanako interrupted.
“Shut up!” Yama shouted on her.
“Our relationship doesn’t bring any fun to you then…”
“That’s not what I mean?”
“What do you mean then?”
“Why am I the only one who is blamed here? What about you? Have you made any good commitment here?”
“What’s wrong with me now?”
“Still remember what you did a few months ago?” he reminded her of her affair.
“Ooh! So is this your motive? A payback? A revenge? He was my first love, and I couldn’t forget him that easily. But I’ve learned my lesson and he has no place in my heart anymore.”
“Well, I could say the same thing then, she’s nothing to me. Nothing.”
“What? I’m nothing?” another interruption from Kanako.
“SHUT UP!” now both Yama and Yuina shouted on her.
She mumbles something and moves away from those angry birds, circling her eyes around the room, spots Keito and walks approaching him. Realizing himself as the target, Keito moves one step backwards, but Yuto who’s standing next to him, notices that and takes a cover step before Keito. Looking that one of her best friends is gonna have trouble, Rin walks in and stands between Yuto and Kanako.
“Bi..”
“Don’t you even dare finishing your line…” Ryu blocks her way and mouth. One of his arms is holding Rin’s hand who’s standing behind him now, She rounds hers around his waist.
Seeing that, Kanako feels unaccepted and decides to just rest herself on the couch.
People have moved their attention back to the angry birds.
“It was just happened, I didn’t mean to hurt anybody, but I think I shouldn’t get this kinda treatment, considering that you had made such mistake too.”
“Haha! It is surely the motive, you want me to feel what you felt, to bite my own finger and hurt as you were hurt, right?” she’s trembling, “Admit it!”
“Maybe I am, maybe I do. And if I do, how does it feel now? Does your heart feel like torn off? Have you shed tears on your pillow? Have you tasted bitter tears instead of salt? And did you..?”
“Did I what?”
“Did you ever consider that I might feel the same, or even more?” Yama slows a bit, and starts to cry.
“I never…” Yuina felt guilty for never considered that before.
“Yes you didn’t.”
Yuina walks toward him, and all the audiences are like ‘woaah’ with dropping jaws.
“Yamachan, I’m sorry for what I did, and I’m sorry for causing you pain. I know how you felt that time, and I can feel that pain now, might be less, might be more. But revenge isn’t the best way to make me realize it.”
“I know, I was wrong, I was burned by my own rage and got lost in the way of inner thinking and conscious.”
“We might not be good for each other,” she takes a step backward.
“What do you mean?”
“We’re not meant to be….” Tears come rolling down her face, she walks leaving Yama behind.
“Come back!” he begs, Yuina is standing by the door, though the tears blur her sight, but she doesn’t hesitate to move forward. “It wasn’t you, it was me. I was the one who’s guilty of all. I can feel the steel knife in my windpipe, I can’t breathe, but I still fight, while I can fight.”
She reaches the door handle and opens it, but then Yama dashes himself, catches her elbow with one hand and surrounds her chest with the other. “Don’t go….”
Yuina looks deeply hurt, yet touched. She doesn’t move or try to let herself go, as Yama slowly shut the door.
