Natsuki opened her eyes suddenly and looked over to Shizuru but the other woman was still unresponsive. Rubbing her eyes Natsuki realised she must have fallen asleep, which wasn't really surprising since she hadn't left the room since Shizuru had been brought in.

Sitting up straighter she took Shizuru's hand in hers, "Please wake up Shizuru" Natsuki whispered raising the hand in hers to her lips to place a soft kiss on the back of Shiuru's hand.

Shizuru willed herself to calm down, it was not like her, nor a Fujino, to be terrified, and eventually by mind over matter she did calm. Finally thinking clearly, though she couldn't move still, Shizuru heard it. Natsuki's voice. The words were to fuzzy for her to understand to her immense frustration, but the tone was what mattered. It was soft and tender...and loving.

In the past week Shizuru felt a subtle change in their relationship, but didn't know exactly how much of a change it really was. Sure they threw words around that tied her heart it knots, but was it really what she hoped it was? At this point Shizuru held onto it whether it was love as she wanted, or friendship love, because she needed something to comfort her.

Though Shizuru showed no signs of waking Natsuki continued to talk, it somehow distracted her mind from thoughts of Shizuru not waking up. The doctor had assured her that she would be fine but still that didn't stop Natsuki from fretting.

She'd been gearing herself up to tell Shizuru her feelings, as confused as they may be, when it had happened. The thought that she could have lost her had hit Natsuki hard.

Tightening her grip on Shizuru's hand she blinked back tears as she spoke, "You have to wake up you know," she informed Shizuru, "Theres no way I'm letting you leave me on my own."

She smiled to herself as she added "Besides we both know you can't resist teasing me for long. And I won't mind. Well not at first, I'll be so glad to have you awake I'll blush as much as you want me to. Don't expect it to last for long though, as much as I love you I won't make it easy for you to tease me forever." As Natsuki waffled on she kept her eyes trained on Shizuru's face hoping for any response to ease her aching worried heart.

Slowly as Natsuki began to talk the words came into clearer focus until Shizuru's fear was completely replaced with amusement. She always thought Natsuki enjoyed her teasing more than she let on, but only now did she have concrete proof of the fact.

Still, when she tried to move, to open her eyes a cunning teasing remark on her lips, she couldn't her body still refused to cooperate.
