"Utakata" sounds interesting! I'll go look for it. I've always liked songs that mixed in traditional instruments. Are their any other songs by them that you recommend? ^^
Hrm.. Kagrra songs.. I'll recommend Sans album, Urei and Haru Urara probably. Those are quite unique in a way. If you can grab the PV too, it's quite beautiful ^^
Sounds like a really cool song! I haven't really listened to Kagrra before. I will have to give Utakata a try ^^ I love the sound of the Koto. I think that would be a really cool instrument to learn how to play ^^
Yep, utakata really2 lovely!! Sakebi, the 2nd song, also quite nice. I can't wait for the PV coz I've been watching the making of them and they're both so interesting! *search frantically*
As you knew, I've been spazzing about it in my own LJ coz it's owowso lovely *molests it and shtuff*
*got poked* Itai!! heyyy.. no poking! *got poked again* GYAAAAAA! Fuji's a meanie when she's bored and hyper... T.T
Shamisen is from Okinawa? O.O .. I love traditional instruments, be it chinese, japanese, indonesian or malaysian. They give such nice sounds.. esp the string instruments. I think the chinese version of the koto has mo strings and is mo complicated to play, right?
Yep, I read that Shamisen came from Okinawa originally. Yeah, traditional instruments give this nice feelings when I listen to them too. They got diff. effects compared to the new electric ones. String instruments are love~ *cough*ckguyplaysviolin*cough*
I think so too, the chinese ones seems more complicated and plays with both hands. The koto only with 3 fingers of the right hand. The thumb and the 2 fingers next to it. I have no idea what you call those fingers in english :P
