RELATIONSHIPS
Index is Touma's responsibility--I mean, she's very important to him. For various reasons. She's the only tie he has next to him about his memories. They're also very close, seeing as how Index lived with him in Academy City. So he's quite protective of her, even though he might complain about her and bicker with her a lot, at the end of the day it doesn't really bother him. She's probably the closest person to him right now.
sup Biribiri. Mikoto wants in on Touma's pants so bad. But he's completely oblivious to this. In fact, he's under the impression she enjoys making his life harder. Despite that, though, he does trust her. And he does consider her a dependable friend.
Touma doesn't know how to feel about Accelerator. On one hand he's kind of wary of him--because he isn't sure he'd be so lucky to beat him a second time. But on the other hand he wants to try getting to know him better, because he knows how Accelerator's sort of turned a new leaf and has devoted himself to protecting Last Order and the sisters. Touma can respect that, knuckle tap style. But it totally seems like Accelerator hates every fiber of Touma's being, so it's hard to really get to know the guy.
Another one who wants in on Touma's pants, though she tries to make it more obvious. But he still doesn't really get it. They get along and of course Touma considers her a friend, but he sees her as someone who sort of needs protecting given their history. As in, if Touma needed someone's help, Imouto probably wouldn't be the first on his mind.
Touma and Kai are pretty bro. They work at the same cafe (Kai as a butler and Touma as pseudo-security), so they see each other often. Kai's probably the closest guy friend Touma has in Karalis, even if he's gay. And hey, that's fine and all, but Touma can't help but feel a little nervous when Kai jokingly flirts with him. HE CAN'T TELL IF HE'S SERIOUS OR NOT OKAY TOUMA'S KINDA STUPID.
They're currently roommates, but they became friends before that. Mainly out of their fear of Mikoto, but also because Danny somehow made it the norm for them plus Accelerator to come together and discuss who Mikoto possibly likes, like some sort of secret discussion club.
THIS BITCH. If there's one person Touma's truly wary of in Karalis, it's Evangeline. She not only attacked him full-force just to test his ability, but even kidnapped Index and used her against Touma so he would fight Evangeline. So he pretty much doesn't trust her, though of course, Touma would help her if she needed it. Because he's Touma. He thought her adult form was hot but didn't know how to feel when he found out it was her.
Touma's name makes Saleh mad. Really mad. Even his name brings misfortune. Fukou da. Touma's under the impression Saleh really just doesn't like him--which is probably true. But Saleh is also the only person who knows Touma has lost his memories, so Touma can't really just ignore him, though Saleh did say he wouldn't tell anyone. Touma also accidentally kind of groped Saleh's girlfriend so uh... there's that, too. Watch yourself, Kamijou.
They've only formally spoken once... but Nagi is using Touma as "reference" for her manga, so sometimes she'll follow him around and study what he does and what antics he gets into. I mean... he doesn't really mind, though it can be sort of weird sometimes. Otherwise he doesn't dislike her or anything.
Index's roommate. Since Touma's technically an esper, Hyoubu is pretty nice to him, though he probably does make fun of Touma's misfortune. Hyoubu's pretty nice to Index, too, and he's usually the one keeping an eye on her since Touma isn't living with her, so he's thankful for that. He doesn't think Hyoubu's trickery on others is that cool, though, and if he knew of Hyoubu's real intentions, he certainly wouldn't approve. Because we all know we need Touma's approval to advance in life.
