Hi to all the new people. I'm Oishi Syuichirou and I go to Seigaku. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

No, but I have done snorkeling. Sae-san and I used to go to the beach all the time with the team and do really cool stuff like look for clams and everything...ever since a lot of them graduated and stuff we don't get together that often anymore. It is sad sometimes, but then again I am happy for them because they're on to bigger and better things!!!!

That's really neat. My team went to a sushi place, or went bowling, or played billiards...we had a lot fun too. I miss last year's team, but at least a good number of the team is with me on the high school team.

Scuba diving! That sounds so fun!

You should stop by the library and bring home books like Silent Spring that talk about how harmful chemicals are. Then maybe your mom will get the idea.

Of course, she'll probably go nuts the other way. Moms do that.

I'd love to learn how to scuba dive. I've snorkeled once or twice, but that's it.

We had to read Silent Spring in biology. It was written back in the 60s, I think, and dealt with the DDT scare back then.

I think too much of anything can cause problems.

Moms always mean well, unless they're that Mommie Dearest lady.
