hah, I WISH! no, but because i am a big ole dago and my grandparents didn't renounce their italian citizenship when they had kids, i am technically a citizen already. i collected the papers i needed to send off to get my passport for the EU (score!) but i am missing papers and there is a backlog until 2009 of applications. so after i get those papers (one of them is at a church in the alpine foothills... bleh, impossible to get!) and send them in i will get a passport in 2009! viva italia!

but really, i will be here until it gets so bad you cant live here. the EU passport is just a safeguard to facilitate escape. i am a pretty big fan of the US of A and it's amazing array of real estate.

i'd love to live abroad someday. not necessarily because america gets shitty for whatever reason but just because i think it would be a fun adventure. france would be cool. maybe somewhere scandinavian.

i would like to spend time abroad for more than a week or two but i think i would go to india or the azores if the opportunity presented itself. i haven't been to europe other than portugal and the azores so who knows, i could love it there but i have an unhealthy obsession with asia.

if i was a single gay i would be in italy in a second. all of the doodz there are so hot and hairy and slutty. it looks like paradise. heh.

You and your goddamned QIS word.

You know, I've started to really hate going out to dinner with a lot of people. Maybe it's me being egalitarian or whatever, but when I go out to dinner I expect to go halfers on the bill. I don't care if I got a $30 meal and someone else got a $25 meal and a carafe of wine; I always expect to split the bill down the middle. More and more though I am encountering these penny-pinching assholes who tally up their exact total and give me the rest to pay.

OMG. And don't even get me started on people who don't tip worth a damn and I have to tip even more than I usually do just to compensate for them. It just makes me wanna slap a bitch.

dude, you and me both! it makes it so much easier to just split it, if you cant afford to eat out, dont go! i would rather just pay for a friend than have them sit with their fucking cell phones calculating tip or whatever. even if they got it spot on with tax and 20% they would still be paying less and i would judge them for that... not that anyone with the audacity to do that would leave 20% but still. fuckers.

lets go to alinea now, please.
