Cats having loud sex -
Moans, then thumps against my wall.
Five AM. I wake.

Edit: And then, as grogginess turned to alertness...

Five AM morning,
You gave me hot chai tea, spiced,
and twittering birds.

Oh no, twas indeed cats. And it was the most curious thing. They would go at it for a long while and then there would be a pause and an obvious scuffle, scratching and a large amount of movement. Then, eventually they would settled again right under my window and keep `makin kittens.
