Nice to know that someone besides myself appreciates this sort of thing--and your own LJ seems to suggest that you're desperately in need of soothing. Although I've never had my own Tumblr, that's where I encountered the concept of moodboards.
(I can't claim to have originated any of the above content; in most cases, I used an online tool called EZGif [http://ezgif.com/ ] to modify the color and size. As noted, I've tried to credit and link to the originators, but the shift in Google Images' formatting has made that considerably harder: an image link will now take you to the page rather than directly to the image URL, and to look up "similar images" to check dates, you need...the image URL. Bing Images will directly yield the image URL, but they don't seem to have as extensive a database.)
