Selecting a smart phone service provider

forestmaster and I were both out of contract so we could have chosen any phone service provider we wanted. All three of the big providers now have the iPhone 4S and various Android phones, so which one to choose?

My best Smart Phone moment:
When Bunny was attacked at the dog park I was able to text and then talk to a vet while searching for the nearest emergency clinic and using the GPS feature to get there. I can't put a price on that. *sniffling*

Very cool and fortunate for Bunny... if only the iPhone packed a taser and pepper spray... maybe iPhone 5?

I'm a big fan of the smartphone. I am better at my job because of it. Hell, I can't even measure how much, I have PDFs of most manuals on it, and I can look up charges, language, directions, procedures, etc., any time I need. Seriously, it has been my crutch since I got out of the academy. Not to mention how handy it is in my personal life!

I think you were one of the first people I knew that had a smart phone outside of the Palms... seeing how you have used it opened my eyes to the possibilities, but it was hard to justify doubling our phone bill for a long time. Now that we are using them, it is hard to see how we got along without them. Almost as big a shift as getting a cellphone for the first time. :)
