Thanks. I figured that it is just no good saying I'll do it next year because I'm too busy this year. The reality is that I am always going to be swamped at work and if I want to actually write for a living one day, it is going to be up to me to find the time to write now, because there is never going to be a quiet time when I will have more free time later on.
Even if I don't get it finished, I will at least have a bloody good crack at it.
Well, I have had dozens of plot bunnies in my head for years so it is not too difficult to pick out one to use. Going for my fantasy/mystery/romance bunny. ;-)
Snooping around the forums, it seems that some people don't have plots yet themselves. There are all sorts of prompts and stuff around for people to use.
As for the layout, it is one of the free ones so you should be able to use it if you really want to. It's called Sugar and Spice.
I am just keeping my fingers crossed that my work place settles down a bit. At the moment it is ridiculously busy.
I am sure that under normal circumstances 50k words in a month is something I could manage - it is just a question of whether I can manage it whilst working long hours.
Tracked you down there and added you as a budddy. I am LouisaB - using my old user name rather than the full moon one.

Glad you're doing Nanowrimo! I'm hoping to do better at it this year as the last two years were epic FAIL!!

I have never tried it before myself, but figured that I can't do any worse than not trying at all.

Thanks.
I will try not to spam my f-list with loads of posts about it, though don't be surprised if I do one a week or something.
