Very interesting. I like the idea of Remus teaching of course, even if in a muggle school or nursery. My romantic heart likes the explanation that Remus couldn't face Sirius because he still loved him despite all that he believed Sirius to have done. I admit to being puzzled about Remus' plan to be near Azkaban on the night of the full moon. I don't know what he planned or hoped to accomplish. I was touched though by Moony and Padfoot's story. and the very ending is lovely and haunting.
The reason Remus was there was because he had been contemplating visiting Sirius after all, but he had decided against it. But with the full moon so close he gave in to the instincts of the wolf and remained close by.
