Lupin gave a slightly sad smile. "Yes. Beyond anything I should ever hope any of you should experience, Miss Lincks. But I suppose I get by."

He slid off his desk to stand. "Unlike the transformation of an Animagus or a Metamorphmagus, the transition from human form to wolf form is one the body strongly disagrees to, and attempts to fight against. Unfortunately, the Wolfsbane Potion doesn't counteract that painful part of transforming, though I do think there have been slight advances made in that area."
