I'm glad you have good things in your life, and whoo-hoo on the saving and planning! I used to work for Games Workshop, so I can understand the mixed blessing working for a gaming company can be. There are several openings in the company I work for in Owings Mills, Timonium. It's CSR positions, but it's good benefits and a corporate ladder you can climb. If you are interested, leave a comment in my lj. :) -Tina
So, on Friday, Termite, myself, Wren, Talid and Termites girlie Maux went to the comedy club at Jillians to try to catch you .. but you weren't there *le sigh* We had a few drinks for you anyway :)
Sorry to hear about Wizards .. I know a few g33ks who are looking for a place to transplant themselves as well.
It sounds like your experience with Wizards is similar to mine with Bibelot. It's even harder to accept a crap job after you've done something you've enjoyed though, so I wish you good luck!
I'm glad things are good with Jamie. If anything happens to you, I'll be looking for that boy though...>:(
Hopefully I'll catch you online tonight...take care!
Yay! We haven't heard from you in a while on this confounded lj thing!
I'm thrilled to hear about Jamie. There's nothing like geek love. (I'm in MARRIED geek love. It's disgusting, I assure you!)
Yeah, I'm learning that buying PC's out-of-a-box just doesn't cut it for most gamers or pc geeks. I hear bassguy21 builds computers in his spare time, and they can be all sparkly with twinkling lights!

Sweetheart I know you feel like everything you are familiar with is crumbling....Your job situation, The Comedy Factory.. You know that my job situation is crumbling as well. This all reminds me of the scene in the movie Labyrinth where Sarah is frantically trying to climb the Escher-like maze of stone staircases to get to Toby....Then the Goblin King makes it all start crumbling and Sarah is just floating in midair watching the ruins crumble and fall around her.....I wish there was something I could to do make it all better but there is not :( The best I can offer is an ear to listen, a hand to hold, and perhaps a box of Pocky to share as we both sit quietly and wait for our lives to stop crumbling so we can figure out what the damage is and where to go from there......Just please know that I love you with all my heart and that as long as you want me here, you are never alone.....
