[The puppies have only left to eat and have otherwise not left their mistresses' side since she was brought to Tsuzuki's house pretty much in a sleep-coma of sorts. However, the auburn-haired girl finally finds that the sleep is leaving and in return for the refreshed but somewhat numb feeling finds that there is a ball of warmth on her stomach.

I'm not sure how long you were out, though, to be honest. I heard you were takin' an extended nap, but I wasn't given a reference point.

...Means longer than three days. If I'm right. If I completely missed the dinosaurs...must have been longer than that. [Then why did it only feel like eternity? That was usually the first thing to slip her mind; time. She hated feeling confused about time-missing and all that kinds of stuff]

The brand new blindfold rested in his lap; he couldn't show this face to her, so quickly he ties it around his eyes and in an instant darkness dissipates to show who the form really is: one of her best friends, and one who had no recollection of his past experiences in this city. He felt a pang of guilt for not being able to recall, but it hurts just to watch the feed and not say anything.
Kairi...How could he even show himself to her in his current condition? Would she even see him through this darkness he found himself in like he 'saw' through the illusions? He's afraid, not of what he's become, but if someone so pure of heart--someone of the light--could even accept someone who was fighting to walk toward it and back to all he'd once forsaken. And he'd do it all over again for either her or Sora ( ... )

Although his manner of speaking...something about the tone behind the voice worried her and it was this that she picked up on immediately. She was always worried about him, about Sora...she bit her lip on the other side of the SFC, taking her own time and trying to decipher the meaning behind Riku's words. Maybe he was scared? If he was missing the memories of Vatheon (what she assumed because that was what usually happened or so she managed to find out from her own experiences) that was still okay. She had his charm around her wrist still from that one time; he would remember again. She would help him.] It's okay, Riku. If you don't remember here...that's okay. You at least remember me and that's a good place to start. [She gives a tiny laugh, smiling beyond the SFC, her heart beginning to be relaxed and ( ... )

He knew the moment the words left his mouth that his friend had picked up on it to the point that he was internally cursing at himself for letting it slip. He was normally so good at hiding his emotions, but there were always two who'd bring them out into the open more than anyone else. And it wasn't just missing memories that had him worried. Riku wouldn't remember, but he could be reminded and remake those forgotten promises if need be. ...It wasn't the only thing to fear for, now that he knew for certain that Kairi was here. At least the small laugh made his hidden light burn just a bit brighter.
He waited, noticing the feed turning to private. He nods faintly to himself, but that question...] A little roughed up thanks to the dinosaurs, but otherwise- [He made a faint noise, like he was shifting in his seat. Admitting this was going to be hell.] Kairi, I'm from an earlier time from what I gathered from ( ... )

So much.
Because she knows you mean so much to her and...well, she can see through you, in a sense. Into the light that hides within your darkness. Even through your voice...she knows that you are fighting and she'll stick with you till the end.] Well...dinosaurs would rough anyone up, right? Even Sora would have issues...that silly boy. [Towards his next comment...she hesitates, her voice lowering] Would it be...people like Vanitas, Riku? [Note here that she's never met the boy; only heard of him]
[Don't worry. I'm here with you. No matter what. Like we were before]
