First speech meet yesterday-uber awesome. Hill, Haven, StephMelia (yay! I'm so proud of you!!!), and I got ribbons. I ended up with third place. Pretty good. It was so great being around speechies again!!! I was surprised I managed to remember my speech at all. Squee ( Read more... )

Yay, random comments are fun! I'm in poetry, which I LOVEloveLOVE. But I might try Extemp. for Poetry cause it sounds like fun. Well, for the last two years Carly Jarva was our couch, but this year its Mrs. Linnell. Thanks! Dude, I saw on your profile you went to Macalester-I'm planning on going there, lol. anyway. what i said was yay for having eerie amounts of things in common!

if you went to murphy, you know my dad, then. he was the custodian. it was good having a dad working there. i always got chocolate milk at lunch :)

i always did the prose part of extempt but since they've seperated everything out, it's definitely possible to focus on poetry. extemp is a great catagory! i'm thinking of volunteering to help with the big GR meet that's right before subs - what date is it on this year?

have you applied to mac yet? i was very sad that they didn't have a speech program, though they do have debate and and a very good mock trial team.
