What is it that seperates me from all my peers? So often there seems to be nothing of connection between us. Am I really that different? Is there that wide a gap-a gap of interests and pettiness and music? I am tired of being an object of conintual quaintness and oddity ( Read more... )

Perhaps, though, the conclusion to be made is that being on my own side of this wide gulf, water representative of memories of European sunlight and algebra and literary terminology, is not so bad after all. Perhaps, the final conclusion is, it's their loss.

I only wish everyone could realize that. *hugs*

Well Maren, honestly. You know to damn much and you tend to point it out. Don't get me wong here, its cool you can like...recite the presidents in order backwards but it really isnt something that makes kids our age go 'oh man sweet!!'
You have completly different interests than us and, well, it shows. Such is life aye?

Oh, so all of our interests have to be entertaining? It's not my job to make sure my interests entertain you. Hence this entry.

I think that you should just be maren. The people who are your real friends will get over it, and the people who cant, well,they can piss off, and you'll get over them. If you want to try and change, go on with that impossible task and i'll support you all the way. but if you dont, well.... we'll just have to live with it wont we??
