Yeah, I was so lucky Linell gave us those brochures. I was just iffy about going untill I showed up; speechies really are the best people in the world.

Wow, comedy camp sounds like fun. Yeah, this camp was pretty reasonable as far as price goes. My parents were generous with me this summer because next year I will have to workworkwork all summer.

I definatly did have fun!

Dude, that's just slightly freaky. Not the whole seeming semistalker-ish thang, cause you don't, but that whole having way too many things in common thang. Miyazaki and LMM are my idols. Seriously. I spend so much time watching his movies and reading her books.

Speech most definately equals life. What category do you do? (I've done poetry for three years.)

yay for kindred spirits!!!

Yeah, LMM fans are way too few and far between. I was lucky to be a member of the Avonlea Forum before it closed down - which was an AWESOME group of LMM fans. I've read all her novels except Magic for Marigold and some of her short story collections that are hard to find. Most definitely, she's my favourite author.

The Emily trilogy is wonderful. You've read Jane? Yay! I love that one - Jane was always so different from her other heroines, but I felt she was in many ways a more realistic one. Have you read the Pat books?

Dude, everybody worth knowing loves Harry Potter. ;) Ron/Hermione all the way!

Freakiness abounds. Sweet.

I got to meet so collegiate speechies at my camp. Yes, it does sound more hard core, but it sounded like they have just as much fun. Creative is so much fun, and Oratory can be really interesting. Pretty much all speech categories just rock though.
