She has worked with Kase twice, another movie being the one promoted when she guested on HnA Mannequin SP and VSA Tunnels SP. I think she has a lot of luck with her job as an actress, as she has worked with quite a number of good actors and directors.
And it seems that you haven't wound up with this info, Yuriko and Kase Ryo are friends, she has mentioned in a couple of interviews that she occasionally goes out for drinks with him and sometimes, consulted him for advice. Kase Ryo is like a big brother to her in the entertainment world, not to mention that his face resembles her real brother's face. LOL. +She loves teasing him mercilessly. XD

Haha, I'd rather not hear rumors about Nino x Yuriko because I don't want to see the media jinx their relationship. As long as they can stay as good friends, then all is good. Besides, I want them to co-star again in another project. XD But if rumors about them were to float around, I'd like the relationship to be real and serious.
Kase is an extremely skilled actor. He's one of my favorite Japanese actors, so I'm really happy that Yuriko got to work with him, even twice at that. =)

Perhaps because she doesn't appear more than 10 minutes and her role does look very different from Yuriko in RL. XD
I think the quirky behavior or disposition and speech habit of her character in this movie is what made me think that she really stands out and is a bright spot in every scene she appears. It just aroused my curiosity to want to know more about this Natsuko character. And also her positioning and movement in the frame are in the right places, so my eyes just naturally followed her. =D I think she's a good example of strong acting due to her conspicuous presence. If I'm not mistaken, some Japanese cinema expert said before that even though she's less attractive than Shibasaki Kou and Kuriyama Chiaki, she has a presence that blows them out of water or something?
