Of course Edward. What brought this on may I ask?

It's just that I didn't honor mom or the old man, so I figured we'd best toast to Nina and the Brigadier General, even though y'know, the Brigadier General's with us right now.

To memories?

Hey, Ed...

What do you, personally, usually do when you wanna um... do something to honor some one's memory? Besides the whole moment of silence thing, I mean.

Al and I used to have a system for this. We'd toast to their memory, and I would drink both glasses.

Hey don't look at me like that; it was a unique situation and I always got wine during the Furher's birthday celebrations.

Heh. Nah, it's cool. *sadly* I was just wondering, is all...

Trust me, it's not an infallible system but it works.

Still though, I've got a lot to remember.

I'll chip in something for them.

... Mm, I should think of a new way to honor my family's memories. What do you suggest, Ed?

Not too sure, but definitely start a new tradition here with the people you're with.

It's late, so yeah, brain not functioning.

That's understandable.

In about a month, my mother and father's would be anniversary is coming up, then their birthdays... Hm.

I've got that old photo album of mine...

I'd say fill it with new photos of your extended family, nestle them in with the older photos.

Gee thanks, pipsqueak. Now I'm thinking about my sister.

Hey, and you don't think I think of these people too? Nina was a precious person to me, and she was killed. Same with the Major, er, Brigadier General.

Sometimes you just gotta take the good with the bad. Or go insane.

Oh, these two XD; notapaperboy July 12 2009, 06:42:19 UTC
I wasn't saying you didn't! All I said was that what you were talking about made me think back to my sister!

Yep, and Ed never gives up. fulltinyalchemy July 12 2009, 06:43:44 UTC
Yeah yeah I know. I'm thinking about Al right now.

Now where's that wine glass...? If I'm going to celebrate a memory, I gotta do it traditionally.

Ed?

Is it okay if I ask who Nina is?

Reply

fulltinyalchemy July 12 2009, 19:49:17 UTC
Yeah, it's fine.

Nina is the daughter of a man I knew, Shou Tucker, the Life-Sewing Alchemist. She, Al, myself and her dog Alexander played together. She was a dear friend until her own father took her very identity away from her.

I found Tucker years later, trying to use the philosopher's stone to resurrect Nina. He had clearly gone mad after being fused with a chimera for all this time.

What did her father do to her?

fulltinyalchemy July 12 2009, 21:19:56 UTC
He... transmuted her, into a chimera along with Alexander in an attempt to save his reputation.

Nina and Alexander died that day.
