Even as matters go from bad to worse in Iraq, there is increasing evidence that the Bush administration has already begun military incursions into an additional ten countries in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Iran is a wonderful country as long as it's currently in our highest interest. Anyone remember the Iran-Contra affair? We arm the freakin' country and now we're pissed at it, like shit man where'd they get all them weapons???

Ye gods... America cannot do this. It doesn't matter how many accusations are levelled, war with Iran is such a bad idea. If the west keeps on overturning middle eastern governments (especially as we REPEATEDLY ignore or even support truly vile regimes elsewhere), especially ones with oil or useful locations for pipelines we will cause chaos. Pakistan is three steps away from a theocracy. Jordan and Saudi Arabia monarchies are not stabel (I like neither regime, but this could lead to an increasingly angry and violent uprisings across the middle east - not in the name of demoacracy, but in the name of theocracy) even Egypt is bucking on a swell of theocratic pressure ( ... )
