The Piece of My Heart (7/10)

Normal POV
Kibum just stare at Jinki, his face said that he is really surprised with Jinki’s sudden confession. Jinki look straight at Kibum’s eyes while holding his hands tightly, “I love you, Kibum…”
Tears started to leak up from Kibum’s eyes and rolling down on his cheek, he couldn’t say a word. He is speechless. He can’t think straight. This person, who take him away from that house, who take care of him from these 6 months, whose he secretly in love with, saying that he love him… this person love him… this feeling didn’t just one-sided anymore…
Jinki wipe the tears away, “Don’t cry, Kibum… it doesn’t suit you…” Kibum hold Jinki’s hand and let it to lie on his cheek.
“Hyung…” Kibum look at Jinki with his teary eyes, “Hyung… did you mean it…? That you love me…”
“I mean everything, Kibum… I love you…”
Kibum throw himself and buried his face on Jinki’s chest. Jinki hug him tight when he hears a muffled sob from Kibum, “I love you too… hyung…”
There was a knock from their bedroom door, “Kibum… are you in here?” it was Taemin. Jinki was about to let go of Kibum but he hug Jinki tighter than before.
“Yeah, he’s here Taemin… what happen?”
“Oh, hyung… No, nothing happen. It just that the food hasn’t ready yet, I thought that he is cooking the food”
“Taeminie… could you replace him? He didn’t feel well now… he is… sleeping” Jinki lied, he knows that Kibum couldn’t cook right now, especially after what happen earlier.
“Okay, hyung… I get it…”
“And Taeminie…”
“Ne?”
“Sorry to bother you but could you call us when the food is ready?”
“It’s okay, hyung…” they hear Taemin walk away from their room. Jinki look down at Kibum who still buried his face on my chest. They stay still on that position until Kibum let go of Jinki, he look up and a small smile plastered on his face, “I’m happy to know that you love me, hyung…” he said.
Jinki smile back at him, “I’m happy too, Kibum. Hey… lets go to Gwangju and meet my parents”
“But hyung, isn’t it weird to introduce me as your boyfriend?”
“Weird?”
Kibum nodded his head, “We are both boys…”
“They wouldn’t mind it, Kibum. As long as I’m happy, they wouldn’t care about gender beside… they already know about you…” Kibum look at him confusedly, “I tell them about my promise to Hira-nuna… when I tell them that I already meet you, they immediately say that they want to meet you too”
“Really?” Jinki nodded his head, “When will we go?”
“On my next holiday” Kibum nodded and let go of him, Jinki grab his hand when he was about to walk out from their room, “Where are you going?”
“Prepare the food”
“But Tae-“
“I’ll help him, hyung… I’m fine now, beside it was me who volunteered to make a food” Kibum said and walk out from the room.

“Boo!!” Kibum surprised Taemin which make him to jump in surprised. He turn around, “KIBUM!!!” Kibum just laugh hard seeing his friend shocked face.
“Yah!! Kibum!!” Taemin smack Kibum head, “You scare me you know? Why did you do here anyway? Jinki-hyung said that you are sick”
“I’m fine now… I just feel dizzy but after I sleep, I feel better” Kibum lied, “Taeminie…”
“Hm?” he turn around and stir his cook.
“You want to know something?”
“What?”
“Jinki-hyung said that he love me” Taemin turn off the stove and look at Kibum intensely.
“Really?” Kibum nodded his head, Taemin hug him immediately and congratulate him. He drags Kibum to the living room where everyone is watching TV. He announced it to everyone and they immediately congratulate him; everyone is happy except for one person who looking at the new couple with jealous on her eyes.
Next Day
“Let’s go to the beach!!!” Jonghyun shouted from the front. They are on the way to the beach which is 500 meters away from Krystal house.
“Yah! Don’t have to yell like that! We’re not deaf!!”
“People call this excitement, Minho!! If we do that, people can know that we are excited!!”
“But don’t yell like that! You are disturbing the other people” Jonghyun look around and see the other people looking at him weirdly, he smile sheepishly and scratching his head. He bowed his body and they continue their way to the beach.
“Woa~~ Cool~~” Kibum said with bright eyes. “Hyung… lets go there!” he nudge Jinki’s arm while look at him with pleading eyes.
Jinki look at him and smile, he hold Kibum’s hand and run to the beach. “Yah!! You two!! Wait!!” Taemin shouted, Kibum and Jinki turn around but then start to run again.
“Aish… that couple” he smile, “Yosh!! Let’s go!!” he shouted and run after the couple, following by the other.
They play at the beach, swimming, splashing the water to each other, built the sand castle and many more. They keep playing and playing and when the sun was about to come back to its hide out, they come back to Krystal house.
3 days past really fast, it’s time for them to come back to Seoul and to their previous activity. They go from Krystal house early in the morning and arrive in Seoul at noon.

Riiing… Riiing… Riiing…
“Kibummie!! Could you answer the phone?” Jinki shouted from their bedroom. Kibum turn off the stove and rushed out from the kitchen.
“Hello…” someone from the other side of the phone said.
“Hello… May I help you?”
“Can I talk to Jinki?”
“Wait a minute, please…” Kibum put the phone on the table, he come in to their bedroom and see Jinki is changing his clothes. “There’s a phone for you, hyung”
“From?”
“I don’t know but it is a girl” Kibum said, there was a hint of jealousy on his voice. Hearing this, Jinki smile and peck him on his lips and walk out from their room. Kibum humph-ed and come back to the kitchen.
“Hello…” Jinki said.
“Hello… Jinki-ah…”
“Umma?”
His mother chuckled, “Yes, this is your umma… Jinki… did someone who answer the phone is the boy you are searching for?”
“Ne umma… I found him six months ago… and umma, did you know?” he said excitedly.
“I don’t know, Jinki… you didn’t tell me yet” she chuckled, “But let me guess… he is your boyfriend, right?”
Jinki’s eyes widen when he hear this, “How did you know umma? I haven’t tell you yet… aish… it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore”
“Umm… maybe an umma sense” she chuckled when she hear her son whined on the other side of the phone, “Don’t do that, Jinki… you are 18 years old now. Whining is for a 5th years old boy” she laughed when she hears Jinki whined more. “Jinki… me and your father will come to Seoul tomorrow” she announced.
“Really umma? Tomorrow?”
“Yes… your father has a day of work and he want to meet you and check on you… beside we want to meet our son-in-law” Jinki blushed hearing his mother words. “See you soon, Jinki… oh and take care of our son-in-law” she said and hung up.
Jinki go to the kitchen and hug Kibum from behind. Kibum turn around and look at Jinki on the eyes, “What happened? Who’s calling?” Kibum asked worriedly.
“My mother… she said that she and my father would come here tomorrow. So Kibum… change your clothes, we will go to Supermarket” Kibum smiled and let go of Jinki. He goes to their bedroom and changes his clothes. When he is ready, they go to the supermarket.
Kibum make a list while they were on the bus, Jinki keep telling Kibum to put some chicken in it and Kibum gladly write it because he know that chicken is his boyfriend’s favorite. When they arrive at the Supermarket, they immediately pull some trolley with them and push it around the Supermarket, they take some food which is written nicely on a piece of paper but sometime Jinki would take something he want and put it on the cart. Kibum know what he did but he just acts as if he didn’t know about it.
After that they pay it and come back to the apartment. They put the grocery on the table, Jinki immediately throw himself on the couch. Kibum smile seeing his boyfriend act, he go to the kitchen and take two glass of water. He sit next to Jinki and give a glass to him, Jinki got up and take the glass from Kibum, “Thank you…”
“Jinki-hyung… I’m afraid…” Kibum said sadly. He feels really nervous to meet Jinki’s parent tomorrow. Even though Jinki said that his parent was fine with it but he couldn’t get rid of that feeling. He scared if Jinki’s parent couldn’t accept him; he scared if Jinki’s parent wants to separate them.
“Hey… Kibum…” Jinki put the glass on the table and embrace Kibum on his arms, “I already tell my mother about it… she feel excited to meet you, Kibum. I know you are nervous, it was usual for someone who will meet his boyfriend parent. But… you have to act as yourself… I’m sure my parent will accept you… even my mother already call you as her son-in-law”
“Really, hyung?” Kibum look at Jinki with hope in his eyes, Jinki nodded his head and kiss him on the forehead. Kibum yawned and snuggled on Jinki’s chest.
“You’re sleepy?” Kibum nodded his head. Jinki got up and carry Kibum to their bedroom. Jinki lie Kibum down on the bed and he lie beside him, Kibum put his head on Jinki’s chest and fall asleep, a few minutes later Jinki follow Kibum to the dreamland.

A beam of sunlight woke Kibum up from his sleep, he look up and sees Jinki’s peaceful face, he smile and buried deeper on Jinki’s chest. “You awake?” Come a sleepy voice of Lee Jinki. Kibum look up and nodded his head.
“What time is it?” Kibum ask sleepily, he’s too lazy to go up. Jinki’s body is really warm, make him want to snuggled deeper and go to the dreamland once more.
“8 a.m.” Kibum immediately got up after hearing that, “Why make you so rush, Kibum?” Jinki ask him confusedly.
“Your parent will come today, hyung… you remember that, right?” Jinki eyes widen, ah… seems he forget about it. “We have to prepare everything. It will take a time to make a special food for them”
“You want to prepare a special food for my parents?” Kibum nodded his head, “You really want to make a good impressive for them… that’s my boyfriend…” Kibum blushed and throw a pillow at him.
“Whatever, hyung!!” He humph-ed and walk out from the room. Jinki laughed and follow him. When he arrive at kitchen, Kibum already take out the grocery from the refrigerator.
“Can I help you?”
“Umm… maybe you can wash the vegetables and cut it but not too large, okay hyung?” Jinki take the vegetables and washed it while Kibum is preparing for the other food.
They make a good collaboration making the food, although Jinki just wash and cut the vegetables, he keep helping Kibum when Kibum ask him to take something while Kibum is cooking the food. And at noon, Jinki’s parent coming.
“Is he Kibum?” Jinki’s mother asks as soon as she walks in to Jinki’s apartment.
“Yes, umma… he is Kibum… my boyfriend…”
“Annyeong…” Kibum bowed his body but Jinki’s mother immediately hugs him.
“Hyena… don’t do that… he will be surprised if you just hug him like that” Jinki’s father said.
“But… he’s so cute…” his mother look at Jinki, “You have a good taste, Jinki…”
“Umma!!” his mother just laughed seeing his son and soon to be son-in-law blushed hard.
“Umma… appa… you must be really tired. We already prepare something for you” Jinki said. Jinki led them to kitchen, his mother look awed when she saw various foods was already prepared on the table.
“You make this all?” she asks Jinki.
“Not me. Kibum did it, I just help him to wash and cut the vegetables” Jinki’s mother look at Kibum and approach him.
“You will be a good wife for my son, right appa?” Jinki’s father just nodded his head. They sit on the table and start to eat the food. After that they talked about various things, they even ask Kibum to live with them in Gwangju but of course Jinki refuse it, he wants Kibum to be with him. They keep chatting until Kibum’s father decides that it was finally their time to go to Gwangju.

A month later
“What it is, Hyorin?” Jinki ask her who handed him a card. Jonghyun, Minho and Krystal who have the same card waiting for her explanation, they was about to go home when Hyorin approach them and handed them some card.
“Today is my birthday, so I want to celebrate it with you guys. I hope you will come to my house tonight” she explained.
“Happy birthday, Hyorin… but why is it so sudden?” Minho ask.
“I don’t want to celebrate it at first but then I change my mind and decide to have a small party with you guys” she smile, “So, see you at my party…” and walk away.
They look at each other and go to their own house. At night, they go to Hyorin’s party, Jinki of course ask Kibum to go with him, Taemin too go with Jonghyun. When they arrive there, Hyorin is waiting for them. They have dance and have fun. “I’ll go to the bathroom” Kibum said and leave to the bathroom.
A few minutes later, Hyorin come and handed them a can of beer, “Here, we should have fun” she said.
“We can’t take it, Hyorin… Taemin is still too young to drink it” Jonghyun said.
“Aww… come on Jjong… we should have fun!!” they look at each other and take the beer from Hyorin’s hand and drink it.
Meanwhile Kibum, after he finished with his business. He flushed the toilet and was about to open the door but it was locked from outside. He keeps trying to open it but he failed, “SOMEONE!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!” He shouted, “JINKI-HYUNG!! HELP ME!!!”
Next Day
Jinki woke up feeling dizzy and nausea, he cursed himself because he is so drunk last night. He couldn’t remember what had happened at Hyorin’s party. He feels someone stir on his side, he smile knowing that it was his boyfriend. He pulled him closer to his body but then he feel something wrong. His Kibum didn’t have a long hair. He opens his eyes and look down. He was surprised when he knows that it wasn’t his boyfriend who was lying next to him. He was more surprised when he sees her naked body, he look down at himself and he gasp when he sees that he was naked too. “What had happen last night?”
