Normal POV
Today, Sungmin was able to leave the hospital, even though the doctor said that he had to go back for a check-up every two weeks. Kyuhyun helped Sungmin pack his things. Donghae, being a good little brother, promised to pick them up from the hospital. Yesung, Ryeowook and Eunhyuk were going to wait at their house to prepare everything.
At 10 a.m., Donghae came, and he helped them carry their bags while Kyuhyun wheeled Sungmin. They went over to the car, and Kyuhyun lifted Sungmin from his wheelchair to the back seat and sat next to him. After putting the bags in the trunk, Donghae went to the driver’s seat and started the machine, driving away from the hospital.
On the way home, Sungmin kept asking Kyuhyun about their house, even Kyuhyun already told him about it when he was in the hospital, but Sungmin insisted for him to tell him about their house again and again. And when Kyuhyun refused to tell him, he pouted and whined like a child. Donghae just chuckled when he heard the whining and grumbling from the backseat. ‘They really fit each other. I hope he can make you happy, hyung. You’ve suffered too much,’ Donghae thought.
Finally, they arrived at Kyuhyun and Sungmin’s house. Donghae parked the car in the garage. Kyuhyun wheeled Sungmin inside while Donghae brought their bags. When they opened the door, “WELCOME HOME, SUNGMIN-HYUNG” was shouted from the inside. Sungmin was shocked to hear that, his eyes watering. He couldn’t stop the tears, but he managed to smile. “Thank you, everyone,” he said.
Kyuhyun wheeled him to the couch and lifted him from the wheelchair over to the couch and he sat next to him. Everyone sat on the couch too.
“Hyung, I hope you don’t mind that we arranged a welcome party for you. We know that you still need to rest, but we just want to welcome you,” Ryeowook said.
“It’s okay, Wookie. I’m very happy,” Sungmin said. “So let the party begin!”
Ryeowook and Eunhyuk went to the kitchen to bring out the food. Yesung and Donghae just sat on the couch until Eunhyuk shouted from the kitchen, “Why don’t you help us, you two? We only have four hands and there’s a lot of food here.” They got up and approached their lovers.
Kyuhyun and Sungmin sat on the couch, cuddling. Sungmin rested his head on Kyuhyun’s shoulder and Kyuhyun’s hands were around Sungmin’s waist, pulling him closer. “I’m glad that you are home now,” Kyuhyun said.
“Me too, the hospital is really boring.”
“When we were at the hospital, I always imagined that we could cuddle, make out and even do ‘it’ when we got home. But we can’t do ‘it’ until the doctor gives us permission,” Kyuhyun said.
“A month is really long time, Kyu.”
“Yeah, especially since you’re moving in and I have to see you every day. Hm… that is a really long time, and it’ll be hard for me.”
Sungmin punched his shoulder lightly. “Perverted,” he said.
“Welcome home,” Kyuhyun said.
Sungmin smiled and said, “I’m home.” Kyuhyun pulled Sungmin away, looking at Sungmin’s face, and lifted his chin. They began to eliminate the distance between them. Kyuhyun kissed Sungmin, a soft and gentle kiss; the kiss showed how much they missed each other. After a while, they parted, and Kyuhyun stroked Sungmin’s cheek as they pressed they forehead together, and then pressed their lips together, inhaling each other’s warm breath between them. A gentle kiss turning into a passionate one, Kyuhyun licked Sungmin’s lips, asking for entrance, and Sungmin gladly opened it. Kyuhyun pushed his tongue in and Sungmin let Kyuhyun dominate him. Kyuhyun began to explore Sungmin’s mouth, and he sucked on Sungmin’s lower lips. After a while, they parted. Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin, who then blushed. He smirked when he saw Sungmin’s face.
There was a voice from the doorway. “It looks like they’re already done,” Yesung said. Sungmin blushed harder when heard Yesung’s voice and he knew that they saw what they were doing earlier. “If you want to continue, then go ahead, don’t mind us,” Yesung continued. At the moment, Sungmin’s face was redder than a tomato, and seeing this, Kyuhyun smirk widen.
“Actually, I do want to continue it, hyung. But I want it with just two of us,” Kyuhyun said and hearing this, Sungmin punched Kyuhyun in the shoulder again.
“So, can we continue our party?” Donghae asked, smiling.
“Sure,” Sungmin said, still blushing.
They put the food and drinks on the table. Although, there wasn’t any alcohol because they had to go to work the next day, and for Kyuhyun, he had to take care of Sungmin. They were chatting about random things while eating. Although most of the time, the couple cuddled each other while chatting. The night came, and they didn’t even realize this. Yesung, Ryeowook, Donghae and Eunhyuk decided to spend the night there. There were two guest rooms, so each couple had a room for themselves. They kept chatting until Sungmin felt really tired, yawning.
“Are you tired, Minnie?” Kyuhyun asked, and Sungmin just nodded his head, too tired to even speak a word. Kyuhyun excused himself and carried Sungmin to their room bridal style. Once they went in, Kyuhyun laid Sungmin on their bed and pulled the blanket over his chest.
“Stay with me,” Sungmin said. Kyuhyun then lied down next to him and pulled him closer to himself. Sungmin snuggled into Kyuhyun’s chest and fell asleep. A few minutes later, Kyuhyun drifted into a dreamless sleep.

A Month later
A beam of sunlight woke Kyuhyun up from his sleep. He stretched his hand to pull his lover closer to him, just to find that the other side of the bed was empty, signaling that his lover was already awake. Sungmin was able to walk again now, even though he still couldn’t see anything. The doctor kept trying to find a way to make Sungmin see again, but he failed. They weren’t able to do the operation because it was a temporary blindness, so for the time being, they were only able to hope.
Kyuhyun heard the bathroom door open, and he saw Sungmin walk out from the bathroom with his bathrobe on. Sungmin felt the wall and went to their closet, opening it. He pulled out some clothes and was ready to take off his bathrobe until Kyuhyun said, “Are you going to seduce me so early in the morning, Minnie? You’re naughty.”
“K-Kyu?” he stuttered. “You’re already awake?”
“Yeah, if I was still sleeping, then who was the one talking to you?”
“Kyu, turn around. I want to change my clothes.”
“If you want to change, then go on. Someday, I will see your body though,” Kyuhyun teased.
“K-Kyu!” he pulled his bathrobe tightly around himself and blushed. Kyuhyun smirked when he saw this. ‘Cute,’ he thought. “J-just turn around.”
Kyuhyun turned his body; he was facing the window now. After a few minutes, Kyuhyun asked, “Are you done?”
“Yeah, you can turn around now.”
Kyuhyun got up from his bed and approached Sungmin. He hugged him from behind and rested his head on Sungmin’s shoulder. “I’m hungry,” he said.
“Yeah, me too. How about making the breakfast together?” Sungmin suggested.
“I’d like that,” Kyuhyun said, holding Sungmin’s hand and leading him to the kitchen. When they got there, Kyuhyun prepared the ingredients. They were going to make omelets. Kyuhyun let Sungmin wash the ingredients and he was the one going to cook it. After a few minutes, the breakfast was ready. They sat in the dining room and began to eat.
After they finished eating, they went to the living room, turning on the television and cuddling on the couch. “Kyu, I want to ask Donghae to bring me to my mother’s graveyard.”
“Are you sure you want to go there right now?”
“Yeah, I’m sure. I’ve never been there, and I don’t even know where it is, but I’m sure Donghae knows and he will let me go there.”
“Okay, I’ll call Donghae-hyung,” Kyuhyun pulled away from Sungmin and got his cell phone, calling Donghae.
When Kyuhyun was calling Donghae, Sungmin thought about his father. ‘I really want to meet him,’ he thought. ‘I know he still hates me, but I can’t avoid him forever. I really miss my father.’ He pulled his legs to his chest and buried his face into them. He remembered his past; when he still had a whole family. When his mother was still alive, his father cared about him and loved him very much, his little brother was always jumping around when he was happy, and they just vanished in a blink of an eye.
Kyuhyun POV
I came into the living room to find Sungmin burying his face into his knees, and I could hear a quiet sob from him. I sat next to him, pulling him into a tight hug. Sungmin immediately buried his face on my chest and cried hard. I let him cry because he suffered too much. I wanted him to let it all out and be happy again. I fell silent when he clutched my back shirt tightly and buried his head deeper; this was my way of comforting him.
“Kyu…,” he mumbled, his face still on my chest.
“Hm?”
“I’m sorry for making your shirt wet.”
“It’s okay, Minnie. I don’t care about the shirt. If you still want to cry, then go on. I will be here to comfort you.” Sungmin then cried again, mumbling about how he wanted to meet his father and that he really missed him. God, I couldn’t take it anymore. I didn’t want him to feel sad; I wanted him for him to be happy. I knew what would make him happy, but would that person accept his son? He was blinded by his own sadness; he couldn’t see how much that accident affected his son; how many sadness and suffering that he caused for him. I knew he loved his wife a lot, but he couldn’t just chase him away like that, HE WAS JUST 12 YEARS OLD THAT DAY! And that was one more thing that made me angry; he blamed Sungmin for being thirsty, and that was bullshit! I didn’t think it was Sungmin’s fault that his wife died. He should’ve blamed the car drivers, not Sungmin.
Sungmin’s breath slowly began to go back to normal. I still held him tightly though, and when I looked down at Sungmin’s face, he was sleeping. I held him like this for a few minutes before I got up from the couch and carried him to our room. Sungmin still needed rest to recover, and being depressed like that was not a good option for his health. I laid him on our bed and I decided to join him and lied down next to him, pulling him closer to my body, and he snuggled into my chest.
I was going to talk to Donghae-hyung about this later; I knew he didn’t want to see his brother suffering like this, and maybe he could help me meet his father and help me change his mind about Sungmin. And with that last thought, I drifted into sleep.
