The Park, Friday, Late Afternoon 9-14-07

Sousuke was in the park, in the rain, talking on his cellphone because he was fairly certain his room had been bugged somehow, and didn't want to give Leonard any further advantage. He was currently in the midst of a conversation with his superiors at Mithril.

After class, Connor had gone back to his room and gotten his bat. It wasn't much but until, or unless he wanted to make himself some more formidable weapons, it was what he had.

This time he wasn't coming back without something to show for it. He was the son of two Vampires, he'd tracked Cordelia across Los Angeles. No way would he not be able to pick up a trail.

Sousuke snapped shut the cellphone and nodded slightly as he spotted the other boy. "Conner."

"Hey." Connor nodded back. "Somebody took Kaname." You know, just in case he didn't already know.

"I know," he replied. "I think I know where."

"And what are we doing at this time of the afternoon with a military radio?"

"Speaking to some friends," he replied dispassionately.

"Are you now?" the Master took a step forward. "This wouldn't have anything to do with last night's little... incident?"

"Incident... yes, I suppose it does," he replied, giving the man a wary look.

Pippi was on her daily ride, yes in the rain, when she noticed Sousuke also in the rain.

She was whistling happily to herself but stopped when she saw her classmate looking so dower...

She pulls up to a stop near him and waves so she can catch his eye without interrupting his conversation. She waits for him to finish.

He lifts his hand in something that probably constitutes a wave back as he finishes the conversation, and puts the phone away.

"Hello."

"Isn't the rain refreshing?"

[fumoffu_fmp]

"Not particularly," he replied, not that he was making any move to get out of it.
