Personality: Hana tends to be brash and rude to most people, showing little restraint in what he says or does. He is quite a bit of a "potty mouth", and shows little restraint in language, though his cursing is often light, thankfully for those around him. He rarely seems to care about offending people, though he's far from stupid: anyone who proves that they are a decent threat to him tend to not have too many problems with Hana, as he will at least give them a begrudging respect. Those who treat him normally rather than like a little kid, however, also seem not to have too many problems, as so long as they don't irritate or anger him from the start, Hana befriends them relatively quickly.
Hana has an explosive temper, being easily set off at something that could even be the smallest of annoyances to others. His tempers are somewhat dangerous, mostly because of his unusual strength and skill for a small child, as well as how easily they can be set off and how quickly he jumps straight to violence. However, he also tends to calm down somewhat quickly, and only ends up jumping into a real fight if the other person further provokes or starts the fight with him. Though he's undeniably a brat, Hana is fiercely loyal to his family and close friends. While he'll tend to pick fights with them as with everyone else, he's even quicker to turn on those who insult or hurt them, and doesn't hold back from starting an actual fight. He can often be very stubborn and headstrong, a bit of a reflection on Hana's strong will.
He has a lot of respect for the Five Warriors, though he doesn't treat his father or Horohoro as such. Hana is a typical problem child with his father, giving him a hard time, and while he originally held Horohoro in high esteem as well, just the little time he spent around him changed respect to heavy annoyance as he began to cause trouble for him. He has little problems with physically attacking the two, though he quite clearly wouldn't think of even disobeying the other three Warriors.
Hana actually has somewhat of a soft spot for girls, be them adults or kids. This could be from the fact that the only females he closely knows are his mother and his surrogate mother, both of who obviously terrify him deeply. Whether or not that's the case, however, he's always nicer to girls, and often times doesn't mind humoring them or helping them get something they ask. He also seems very uneasy around them when they're upset, though this doesn't always show. Being seven, he doesn't show much interest beyond simple politeness.
Abilities: Hana is unusually strong for a seven year old (and has a very powerful kick, mimicing his mother's powerful slap), though this results from training with Ryu and his own heritage rather than any special powers.
However, being a shaman, Hana can see and speak with ghosts clearly, as well as merge with them to gain their skills. He also carries around a wooden dagger-looking weapon (called Futsu-no-Mitama no Tsurugi), which he uses when merging with spirits.
