The Temperature Danger Zone is when a foodstuff-- especially one with high protein levels-- is exposed to a temperature between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. After the foodstuff has lasted at least two hours in this zone, the foodstuff is considered to be "spoiled" and must be thrown into the trash.
