i've believed that since the day i held conscious thought...that was coherent and mildly intelligent...we are living completely contrary to everything this world stands for. i hate the human race, and thus in essence hate myself. but, i life goes on...which is why whatever higher power put us here gave us alcohol and mind altering drugs. fuck.

"The more attachment we have, the more potential there is for loss... Perhaps by trying to hold on to things, we are living contrary to the nature of the world."

Or perhaps we ought to attach ourselves to something otherwordly, to which our world's chaotic, changing, uncertain rules do not apply. Complete faith in anything is pretty powerful, but faith in something untouchable is just... indescribable.

hey, I found your live journal...

but in any case, although this may not be as intelligent as what everyone else has said, just jump in and go. the leaving is hard, but the coming is exciting and you will put down more roots once you're there (if you want them). Also, being adaptable is a good strength to have, so why not start practicing it?

Once you're here do say something because there is absolutely nooooo wushu around Redlands and I shall be trying to change that.
