I often tell people that God's got an awful lot of explaining to do. And if God exists, then God does. I don't buy the time honored excuse that it's God, so anything goes. If I die and find out that I somehow still actually exist, I'm going to find that bastard/bitch and demand an accounting.

Hey Lance, it's good to see that you're still around. There's been a vacuum of wisdom, humor, and wit since you left - although, others have been doing a good job of trying to fill the void.

Are you at all familiar with that PC game, The Sims?

I think that if there was a God, and He controlled our lives like that game, it would explain why messed up things happen in the world. Just some food for thought.

Ha! That's an excellent analogy to describe God. God is just a lazy-ass gamer that needs to go out and get a job.

And the devil is, perhaps, a hacker who's trying to ruin his game?

I had to check out your journal. :D

I guess I think of God more spiritually. For instance, I don't believe he's controlling the game. I believe he's only helping us along, helping guide us by the choices we make. And, I believe the choices we make are controlled by fate. I see that everything happens for a reason and whether you figure out the reason now or never doesn't matter. I think it's about the lessons we learn, the experiences we go through, and the way we live our lives that makes it worth something. Make sense? XOXO
