Tonight I attended a high schoolish reunion with all the folks I hung around with in the formative grades 7-11 years. It was great... and it reminded me of an amazing story

It's incredibly uplifting to meet people like that, no matter the situation. But that the situation was so difficult it's even better.

She sounds like an awesome woman. I love people like that - wherever they are they light up the place, and their enthusiasm is 110% contagious.

She sounded like a remarkable woman. It's so good to have an experience like that that reaffirms your committment to doing something. Yeah, you'd still feel good about volunteering had you not met her, but now, you remember *why*.
