First of all, you obviously didn't bother to check to grammer or spelling. Second of all, restrictions on alcohol sales, leading to certain times and certain people that alcohol can not be purchased during/by, are state LAWS, not store policies. These frustrating laws are called the Blue Laws, and are vestiges of the Prohibition Movement that was powerful in the early decades of the last cetury. Blame NYS government for not resinding obsolette and annoying laws, not Wegmans for following the law.
the 8 am rule is a state/federal law. no alcohol can be sold before 8 am monday thru saturday anywhere, and not before 12 noon on sundays. that's where the law came from. it's not wegmans :)
your friendly wegmans employee, who should have told you this on the phone earlier :)
In case you're all wondering, I sent her an IM shortly after i saw her original post. I couldn't help but descend to her level of kid's play and i said that she had the maturity level of a text book. I'm not proud, but i did.

I hope you all appreciate your own insignificance - because it's extremely obvious to others.
Sincerely,
