Argg, they're so awful. We all made t-shirts for Pride one year and my friend Ryan's said "Fred Phelps is a cunt", and I was like "Word."
WBC really horrifies me on a regular basis. I just can't believe they protest Virginia Tech and higher education in general. I couldn't believe it when they erected a hate monument on the 5th anniversary of Matthew Sheppard's murder. I couldn't believe when they protested military funerals on the basis that god was punishing America for allowing homosexuality by killing our troops in Iraq...
I just can't imagine a life encompassed by so much hate. I just can't fathom having it envelop every pore of your body so incredibly much that you make it your life's work. It must be so... exhausing... because love and acceptance are just so much easier... It baffles me from a psychological standpoint as well as an ethical one...0
