Sarah Jessica Parker... No. Way. She's pretty much the quintessential NYC celeb for me too. I spent a fortune on the Sex in the City DVDs and totally squee'd when I heard there might be a movie. So I can definitely imagine your giddiness.
Also, this entry made me reminisce about the time we spent in the library, all those years ago, talking about boys.
I went to see Kristin Chenoweth perform at Lincoln Center a few years ago, and found myself about five feet away from Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. It was when she was pregnant - I think she gave birth like two weeks later - but they were adorable together. I also later bumped into Julia Murney in the lobby. Awesome night.
I really loved "Into The Wild" too - my friend gave me an advanced screener. I think Emile Hirsch is trying too hard to market himself as the new Johnny Depp though.
And Vampire Weekend rocks! I got an advance copy of their demo last spring, and I've loved them ever since.
Thank you for this great update! I haven't updated in awhile either, but I always read and it was fantastic to hear what you've been up to. It's so cool that you saw Sarah Jessica Parker, and I'm very jealous that you're working at the Altar Boyz box office, because I love that show! It sounds like, as always, things are going really well for you. :)
