I'd love to have Jack on the show too. Unfortunately, it's a moot point, since this entire thing is probably just another chapter in Fox's grudge against Tim Minnear. I realize that you want to hire people who have experience, but the point at which you cancel five series in a row after less than a season each is the point at which a normal network concedes that the guy probably isn't going to produce what you're looking for. I can only conclude that Minnear ran over Rupert Murdoch's dog or spilled a drink on someone at a cocktail party or something, and now the network has made it their mission to break the man's heart by hiring him to make shows so they can cancel them.

Dollhouse, I'll love you dearly for five weeks in the Friday Death Slot circa Feb 2009. :(

I was thinking of mentioning how this would turn out to be the latest in the line of Tim Minear's Cancelled Shows, but figured maybe if his input is limited, it has a chance of survival.

Victor Garber was on Ugly Betty last week, and we kept expecting him to start busting heads.

I'm assuming that you mean for Victor Garber to play Jack Bristow. Or really, that you just assumed that Victor Garber and Jack Bristow are one and the same.

Oh, I'd definitely want Victor Garber to play Jack Bristow, but really, it's more like Jack Bristow ALLOWED Victor Garber to play him.

Victor Garber played the King in the Brandy version of R&H's Cinderella. thecuckoo November 8 2007, 22:08:21 UTC
This cracks me up to no end, even if it has nothing to do with Jack Bristow.
