After quite a few years and many an aborted attempt, I finally beat Final Fantasy 8. What an irritating experience it was too

Yeah, good point, that was kinda annoying. That's really a whole separate rant regarding my own hypocrisy towards throwing away real money for items in a video game.

Also keep in mind that the technology is about 4-8 generations ago in terms of advances, nowadays a battery should last several years, instead of, what, 3 months?
