I don't know what's more awesome: having a car that you were dead certain would not pass smog actually pass smog (with crazy low nox numbers too, even) or having that same car as it's pulling out of the smog test place suddenly fart a black oil cloud and pick a Final Fantasy victory song as the next random track on the MP3 player

Thats cool! But just to let you know, oil smoke does not disqualify you. The machines only pick the basics that are on your smog sheet. That is why a oil burning car can still pass. So I think you would have pass either way.
