uh... good job screwing yourself over. Why don't you want to go to school anyways?

because there is nothing there for me. lol

why get a piece of paper that gives me permission to sleep on couches until im 40, when i can get a real job with real world training, and make money doing what i want to do, instead of spending money to learn nothing?

dude, yo've taken up vanjoff's mindset against the institution...you think of it as learning nothing (or at least nothing applicable to the real world. Well it's up to you to apply what your learning to the real world, as Vanjoff said, you're not being spoonfed anymore, that is what he meant. Education doesn't come in little modules anymore, that give lil exercises about how to use it in the real world. That's up to you to figure out now and some people attribute their success on their creativity of application

a literature degree has no application in the real world.

right now i am working with a guy who went to culinary arts school. we have the same job and get the same pay. i am skipping the school and getting the training WHILE they're paying me.

this has nothing to do with vanjoff at all. in fact im pretty sure he wanted me to see the writing thing through.

and I DON'T need a degree to tell me that i am a writer.
