I have now seen her music video for her first single 'Stars are blind' twice, & let's just say I wish I had better luck channel surfing.

For those of you who haven't seen the video or heard the song you're not missing too much.  Here's what you need to know:

People like Paris become "singing sensations" because record company execs have for some reason decided that instead of finding a cool act, they should make one. This of course is a hopeless prospect, because the last thing record producers are is cool. Not knowing cool if it bit them in the ass they then resort to name recognition to sell cds; and dammit if pre-teen girls don't keep fueling this idiocy. I'm pretty sure the music industry would return to something respectable if parents stopped giving children under twelve allowances.

lol...eww! The world does not need to see that. I was thinking more along the lines of some substance of personality...but yah, I don't think that exists inside her head, heart, soul or body.

I'm somewhat convinced that she is actually an evil genius. She's been famous for a very long time (way before the sex tape or the Simple Life) for essentially nothing. It takes a pretty special person to pull that off. And everyone is STILL talking about her.

I mean, think about it. Tara Reid, where is she now? And does anyone care? Yet she is the same partying, blondeish hot-type thing that Paris is, PLUS Tara was famous before her for actually doing something.

Wait, what was my point again? I forget. but yeah, Paris = genius!

Yah, I guess I have to agree w/ that she really is famous for absolutely nothing. Many peoples' daddies are fithy rich, but they aren't famous like Paris.

Augh...I like Gwen Stefani. But 'Stars are blind' is a stupidly catchy summer song that I too am starting to like... ahh! lol.
