NYC Planning!

My Mom & I are heading to NYC in May. I am soo excited, I haven't been there since 2002 & my Mom has never been. It will be an excellent Mother Daughter adventure.

Anyways, I am compiling my list of things to do & places to see. So I want your input & ideas. Tell me your favourite places in NYC or what you think might be awesome to do or see.

I think you should visit Comedy Central's World News Headquarters and catch an episode of the Daily Show. Or maybe see if you could be an extra in one of the fine Law and Order episodes filmed there.

Seriously, though, you should check out the Met, Times Square (although it's kind of trashy from what I can remember), and of course, FAO Schwarz.

Also, is there room in your suitcase for me to fit in? I do realize it would have to be a fairly large suitcase, but I'm sure I can squeeze.

Dude, I did that. You had to book it months, seriuosly, months in advance. But totally, totally, totally, totally, totally, totally, totally, totally, totally (swear I didn't cut and paste that, so much goodness) worth it.

Totally.

They film Monday through Thursday nights, probably at like 8 or 9pm. It's definitely not live but he does make reference events that happened in the late afternoon/early evening.

New York, New York...

I recommend the Upright Citizens Brigade -- funny, totally free, and my friend Louie was part of it!
