Day 4: Favorite Monster of the Week.
Eugene Victor Tooms.
Squeeze was the first episode I ever saw so I've always been a fan of Tooms. I'm love that an episode can be so creepy and so awesome all at the same time. Plus only the best MOTW get sequals!
Day 5: Least favorite Monster of the Week.
Betty Templeton and Lulu Pfeiffer
This one episode that I've never been able to like.
Day 6: Most heartbreaking scene.
SCULLY: (crying) We will find him. I have to.
SCULLY: Sir, um... there's something else I need to tell you. Something that I need for you to keep to yourself.
SCULLY: I'm having a hard time explaining it. Or believing it. But, um...
SCULLY: I'm pregnant.
Requiem is one of my favourite episode ever, but this scene just breaks my heart everytime I watch it. I can't imagine what it must have been like to have watched this when it aired and have to wait so long for a new season.
Day 7: Happiest scene.
I was originally planning to use the baseball scene from The Unnatural but that seemed like a popular choice with others doing this meme so I picked the end scene from Existence instead.
MULDER: Well, I don't know. He's... he's got your coloring and your eyes. But he looks suspiciously like Assistant Director Skinner.
(MULDER and SCULLY laugh, then SCULLY frowns in confusion.)
SCULLY: I don't understand, Mulder-- they came to take him from us-- why they didn't.
(SCULLY's theme begins playing.)
MULDER: I don't quite understand that either. Except that maybe he isn't what they thought he was. That doesn't make him any less of a miracle though, does it?
SCULLY: From the moment I became pregnant, I feared the truth... about how... and why. And I know that you feared it, too.
MULDER: I think what we feared were the possibilities. The truth we both know.
SCULLY: Which is what?
Aw! ♥
Day 8: Funniest scene.
Bad Blood would have been too easy.
MULDER: Let me drive…
SCULLY: I’m driving.
MULDER: Scully, it’s not what you think…
SCULLY: I didn’t see anything anyway. (Sits down.)
MULDER: Will you let me drive!?
SCULLY: I’m driv… Why do you always have to drive? Because you’re the guy? Because you’re the big macho-man?
MULDER: No. I was just never sure your little feet could reach the pedals. (Closes Scully’s door, then to White: ) Will you go with her, please? Thank you. (To Himself: ) “Big macho-man”
MULDER: Eh, Scully, if I’m not mistaken, we’re gonna be taking a left up here.
SCULLY: (no reaction)
MULDER: Eh, there’s an intersection up here, you’re gonna wanna…
SCULLY: (no reaction)
MULDER: Scully! You’re gonna, wanna…!
SCULLY: (no reaction, goes straight over intersection)
MULDER: You just…. ran a stop sign back there, Scully.
SCULLY: Shut up, Mulder.
MULDER: Sure, fine, whatever.
Haha - I love the interactions Mulder and Scully in this episode.
