Humans can have stoma? You mean the pores in our skin?
I'm actually back at school now. :( A2 has started. We're being forced to go to FIELD WORK until 6pm next week because the tides don't go down until 4. Crappy.
haha xD nope. I was reading this CPR thing and apparently those who have their larynx removed have an opening at the front of their throat/neck called a stoma and when you breathe for them in CPR you breathe through that hole. I was pretty confused too 'cause there was this picture of someone doing CPR and breathing on the other person's neck and it said 'mouth to stoma' o___o
woah! Starting A2 already...You guys are really faster than us. We weren't even allowed to do our unit one exams in January >
The idea of breathing into a hole that has been punctured in someone's neck is a bit disturbing. What happens if the person regurgitates and stuff comes out? Phlegm, even? :S I'm so gross, I know.
I think it's better to do an exam once a unit has been complete so everything's fresh in the mind. I've already forgotten pretty much everything in that unit. :P
Whenever I think of drivers, I have this image of a limo, a redcarpet and the driver openning the door for the person to step out ROFL xDD So I usually go "omg you have a DRIVER?" *_____*
