Influx of Friends!!!!!

Hey peoples! So in the last week or so, I've had A LOT of new people add me as a friend and I think it's super awesome!!!! I'm assuming this influx is to do with what's going on over at FF.Net, which by the way I think is a load of crap

.I understand completely about the wariness of the number of new LJ friends. My inbox has been flooded by new friends too. I'm praying that the drama stays far away. The whole reason I joined LJ was because of the level of respect the people have here for the author's. They realize that every story takes time to develop and even when they hate the concept of the story, are respectful in saying so.

As you know, I've not been involved at FF net except as a lurking reader. So I hope to continue seeing your posts and comments

I too hope the drama stays away, I'm not adverse to people adding me but after all the drama over on FF I'm just a little weary I don't want LJ affected with the same crap FF has been over the last year.

I've been a member here for ages now and I love how the community is run. I like you love the amount of respect shown to other members and although I'm known for getting into a few debates now and then!! I love that even then people are still willing to talk, support and just in general be pretty damm awesome!

I think it's completely wise of you to take this kind of precaution. At the end of the day, it's about your privacy and you being respected, as I assume all the rest of us would want to be shown the same courtesy and are also entitled to. So, here ye, here ye! Death to all trolls and/or folk with troll-like tendencies! However, alls I know is, you better not give me the boot, woman, or it's on!!!! :P
