I
t had been a long drive to Yesung's new home, a very long drive. The whole drive over he had time to think about what had caused him to suddenly have a change of address. He cried when he thought about all the people he loved and left behind, but as much as he would miss them he was glad to be gone.
Hopefully living here would be good for Yesung.
As he pulled up to the front mansion, Yesung awed that this was going to be his new home. After coming up the long driveway he saw three figures standing by front door.
Yesung's heart started racing harder and faster. He was getting nervous, he didn't know much about the Choi family only that his mother and Mrs. Choi were once childhood friends and that they were extremely wealthy and generous, to let him extended an open invitation to stay in there home for as long as he wanted.
As he pulled up closer he one of the most beautiful couples he ever saw, they looked like a power Hollywood couple. 'That must be Mr. and Mrs. Choi" said Yesung aloud. But all coherent thoughts went out the window as he caught a glimpse of the third figure.
He was tall, dark and handsome. He was the definition of a dream guy, because he literally looked like he stepped out of every girls dream.
Yesung thought he was going to have an episode as he continued to look at the handsome man, and he couldn't believe that he was going to living with said boy.
As the car came to a stop, Yesung said a silent prayer, wishing that everything would be ok and he stepped out of the car.
--
Siwon stared with his mouth a gap at the boy who had just gotten out of the car. Siwon had never seen someone who was so unappealing. He was everything that Siwon wasn't, he was the type of guy he and his friend's made fun of and avoided like the plague and now here he was living with him for who knows how long.
He was short and had a small frame, almost like a girls. He was pale, from what Siwon thought was from lack of going outside, which meant he had no social life, which meant he was probably socially awkward, which also meant he didn't like being the center of attention. That theory was instantly proven right as he saw Yesung look at each member of the Choi family, who were staring right at him and then looked straight to the ground. He had a dark raven hair, most of it covering up half of his face. 'How emo,' thought Siwon. Siwon always had his hair perfectly styled up and away from his face, so that his gorgeous features showed. And he was wearing all black. Definitely a color Siwon stayed away from, unless he was going to a formal event. He had always been told that he was an autumn so he always wore cool color, but then again any color looked good on him. Siwon and Yesung were definitely different, and Siwon didn't want to spend any time figuring out just how different they were. He wanted to get out of there and go hang out with his friends.
"Welcome Yesung" said Mrs. Choi as she half-heartily gave Yesung a one armed hug.
"Please make our home yours" said Mr. Choi as he shook Yesung's hand.
"Thank- Thank you for having me" said Yesung as he looked to the ground again.
"And this is our son, I hope you two will get along well" said Mr. Choi as he urged his son forward.
"Welcome, my name is Siwon, a pleasure making your actuations" said Siwon out of habit, years of etiquette training thought him what to say and do.
"Ni-nice to me-meet you, my name is Yesung" said Yesung as he shook the heart throbs hand.
Siwon had to do a double take and look down to the hand he had taken, for a second he thought that some girl had rushed in and taken his hand but no he looked at the small hand covered by the boy's over sized shirt and saw it was connected to Yesung. Siwon thought it was strange, this guy was small and had small, smooth hands like a girl but had a husky silky voice. It was an odd combination but Siwon thought they worked for him though.
'What am I thinking' thought Siwon as he caught himself smiling at the older boy. He immediately let go of the hand and looked at his parents, almost pleading with his eyes if he could leave already. He didn't want to spend another minute with Yesung, he made him feel things, those things he wasn't to sure on but he knew he didn't like it.
"Well Yesung you must be tired from your trip, why don't we get someone to put your bags upstairs and we'll show you around, and after that you can get settled in" said Mr. Choi.
"Thank you" said Yesung and he followed the Choi's into their mansion.
Yesung couldn't help but help but stare as soon as the doors opened. He knew that it was going to be nice, what mansion isn't but it was nothing like he had imagined it to be. Everything shined and glimmered and looked expensive, really expensive. Yesung made a mental note not to break anything because if he did he'd probably have to become a Choi family maid to pay off his debut. Yesung had never seen anything so spectacular, not even in the magazines. Though Yesung's family was well off, it was nothing compared to this.
"Your home is lovely" said Yesung as he continues to look around the foyer.
"Should be, Mrs. Choi spent a fortune on that famous designer, but I'm glad you like it" said Mr. Choi
"Excuse me Sir" said a maid that Yesung thought popped out of nowhere.
"If you'll excuse me for a moment" said Mr. Choi as he took a call.
"This is so not fair" said Siwon out loud, he knew what was going to happen next.
"I am so sorry, but apparently I'm needed at the office," said Mr. Choi as another maid popped out of nowhere and helped him into his coat and he kissed his wife. "Yesung, I'm sorry about this, we'll have to get to know each other another time"
"O-ok" said Yesung a little surprised by the abrupt departure of the man.
"If you need anything don't hesitant to ask, the staff is at your beckon call and Siwon will help you with anything else" said Mr. Choi and he patted his son on the back and gave him a one armed hug, squeezing his shoulder hard so his son would know that he meant it. If there was anything that Mr. Choi hated it was being made to look bad, and that included by his guests.
"Well we'll chat again soon" said Mr. Choi as he shook Yesung's hand again, "And I will be checking up on you guys" said Mr. Choi to his son as another maid popped out of nowhere and handed him his briefcase and opened that front door.
Yesung let out a breathe he didn't know he was holding when Mr. Choi left. Though he thought the man was very nice there was something about him that made him know that he is defiantly someone you shouldn't cross.
"Well, then I'm afraid that I too have to leave" said Mrs. Choi who was on her cell phone.
"Wha- What" stuttered out Yesung, as he started to panic, the only reason he was there or had any right to stay in the house was leaving.
"I'm already late, you understand right, I made these plans weeks ago, before your mother called and I knew you were coming" said Mrs. Choi as a maid popped out and helped Mrs. Choi put on her coat, while another maid stood behind with suitcases in either hand.
"But- but" started Yesung.
"Am I forgetting anything, oh yes, you start school Monday, the driver knows where it is. Ok then just ask Siwon if there's anything you need anything" said Mrs. Choi as she started to walk away.
"I- I" stuttered out Yesung, still in shock that the last authority figure in the house was leaving.
Siwon saw Yesung's stuttering and scared expression and laughed. 'He has no idea what he's getting himself into' he thought.
"Wait!" yelled out Yesung, "When will you be back?" asked Yesung.
"When ever I feel like it" said Mrs. Choi as she walked out the door, laughing.
Yesung stared at the door, he couldn't believe a parent, let alone a mother would leave their child behind and not even say where or when they'd be coming home, even his parents who weren't all the greatest of parents, would have told him they were leaving. Yesung then realized that only he and Siwon were left in the foyer. Yesung slowly looked over at Siwon and instantly regretted it because Siwon was looking at him as well. That had been the second time in only a matter of minutes that he was caught looking at the boy. He shuttered to think what that mean if he was at his old address.
Yesung kept his eyes to the ground, not wanting to draw any attention to himself but couldn't stand the silence any longer, "Umm"
"Yea" said Siwon abruptly, he was really angry at his parents for spouting off about being a good host when they themselves took off as soon as their guest got there and left him to take care of it.
"I was just wondering if you could umm tell me where my room is" said Yesung in a quite hush as to avoid angering Siwon further.
"Ugh" sighed Siwon, as much as he wanted to just leave this guy here and let him figure it out or better yet leave but years and years of etiquette told him that he couldn't and maybe he just didn't have the heart to, though he wouldn't admit it.
"Common" said Siwon as he started climbing up the stairs to the second floor where his and Yesung's room was.
Yesung looked up quickly and saw Siwon walking away, so he quickly followed him.
After a quick tour of the house, a very quick tour, where Yesung tried to keep up they finally got to the end of the hallway.
"And this is my room" pointed Siwon to the door at the end of the hall on the right, "Never, under any circumstances, ever go into my room" said Siwon with a serious face, "Understand" stated Siwon, he hated having people in his room, he wouldn't allow the maids to go in there and clean up but let's face it he wasn't going to clean it himself.
"Ye-yes" said Yesung
"And this is your room" said Siwon as he walked up to the second to the last door on the left and opened it.
Yesung slowly walked into his new room, and stopped dead in his tracks. It was lovely, Yesung suddenly felt like a kid at Disneyland, he didn't know where to go first. There was a huge bed in the middle of the room, big enough to fit 5 people, and a computer and desk in the corner. There was a sitting area with a couch and an easy chair, bookshelf filled with books. But the thing that caught Yesung's attention was two huge doors leading outside, a balcony.
Siwon walked in after Yesung and watched as the older boy's face lit up. Siwon couldn't help but smile, as he saw the boy skip from one side to the other. Siwon never seen someone enjoy a bedroom so much, well never someone who was fully clothed. He saw Yesung look through the bookshelf and then he saw him stop and look at the doors that lead to the balcony. Siwon slowly followed Yesung as he stepped out of the balcony.
"It's so...light, open, and....free" said Yesung as he took in a big breath of air and opened his arms wide.
Siwon laughed again, he couldn't help but laugh, Yesung looked as if he was about to yell out how he was the king of the world.
"What?" asked Yesung, even if he was a guest at the other's house and he was gorgeous he thought that he was being a little of a snob.
"You seem so happy, over a balcony" laughed Siwon.
"And why shouldn't I be, it's really beautiful, the view" said Yesung, he suddenly started to think that maybe Siwon was a snob.
"The view is beautiful, it's just the garden and the sky, or do they not have the sky where you're from?" he asked sarcastically, if there was one thing he hated it was when people were being over dramatic.
"I-I wouldn't know" said Yesung in a whisper, more to himself than to Siwon and he slowly went back inside.
Siwon looked at the older boy, for some reason he believed him. All these thoughts started going through his head, he wondered what had happened to him but more than that he wondered what he could do to prevent it from happening again. A more compassionate man would have held him and vowed that they would do anything in their power to make sure he was never hurt ever again. But Siwon wasn't that kind of guy and he didn't like the fact that Yesung was making him feel like he should be that guy.
In fact Siwon was getting angrier by the second, who the hell was this guy and why was he getting to him so much.
"Hey~" said Siwon, and Yesung looked up startled and scared, Siwon was about to yell at the boy when there was a knock at the door.
"Yes!" yelled out Siwon, scarring Yesung further.
“Young Master, the tailors are here” said a female voice on the other side of the door.
“Tell him to come in” said Siwon as he glared at a quivering Yesung. “Get up” said Siwon.
“Wh-what?” quivered Yesung
“Master Siwon, glad to see you again, and so soon, maybe you want something new or…” started a strange flamboyant man. “Oh, who is this?” said the man as he neared Yesung.
Yesung on instincts pushed himself further away, until he was backed into a wall.
“He is a cute little thing, oh look at that beautiful face and small body” said the stranger as he advanced even closer to the frightened boy.
“Claude, if we can just get started,” said Siwon as he held what Yesung thought was money in his hand. Yesung mentally thanked Siwon.
“Right away, I’ll go get my assistants and be back in a second” said Claude, “And by the way Mr. Choi you are one lucky man” said Claude as he left the room.
Yesung couldn’t help but blush. While Claude angered Siwon. ‘Him, a lucky guy?’ Siwon brushed it off. Soon Claude and his assistants were at the room again with all their equipments, asking questions that Yesung had no idea how to answer.
“Do you want a lapel?” asked one assistant
“How short do you want the cuffs” asked another
Luckily Siwon was there and answered all the questions they asked, he even stopped Claude a couple of times when he was getting too close to Yesung.
“I’m sorry Mr. Choi, he is just so…lovely” he would respond.
But Siwon just wrote it off as him being an old dirty pervert, at least that’s what he told himself when he found that he was getting angry with their family tailor, who he had known since he was little.
“There all done” said Claude as he opened the door to Yesung’s closet. “Come now, you use being shy, especially someone as cute as you, that would be a waste” said Claude as he pushed Yesung forward.
Claude angered Siwon with his last statement so quickly turned to see what he was talking about.
Yesung stepped out of his closet, shyly, he looked over at Siwon and he saw the younger boy eyeing him strangely, He more than anything wanted to run back into his closet. He hated the outfit that Claude made him wear, it was a tight, form fitting cream color suit, with a bright yellow tie as its main point. Yesung hated it, especially the sunny yellow tie, and he hated the way Siwon was looking at him, well maybe not hate but it made him uncomfortable.
“Doesn’t he look great Siwon” said Claude. But Siwon didn’t respond he just kept staring at the boy, he couldn’t believe that was the same baggy clothes, gothic wearing guy, he cleaned up well. Siwon was about to respond when he heard his phone ring. That quickly snapped him out of his daze.
“Hello?” asked Siwon trying to stop from looking at Yesung.
Yesung watched as Siwon took his call and stopped looking at him all together. After less than a minute of talking Siwon hung up his phone and started walking out of Yesung’s room.
“Wa-where are you going?” said Yesung
“None of your business” said Siwon in a very cold tone, so cold that Yesung was taken aback and didn’t say another word. “And take that suit off it looks terrible on you” said Siwon as he left.
Yesung stood there a while before he heard the sound of a car peeling out of the driveway and knew that Siwon was gone. And now he was left all alone in a foreign house, and foreign town, and there was nothing or no one he could console about it. He knew he shouldn’t be so reliant on people but this was his first day after all and he had hoped that they would at least get to know him a little before they abandoned him.
“There, there, there’s nothing to cry about” said Claude
And Yesung touched his face and sure enough he was crying. ‘Already Yesung,’ he thought. He didn’t expect to cry or be abandoned so quickly but then again nothing can be expected when you’re dealing with Yesung.
