Just think if you still had all that stuff next to you, then you wouldn't be able to remember it with such a romatic fervor. I remember something Hunter S Thompson described....at least I think it was him. Anyways he was talking about high point in the 60s with all the political activism and hope for the future. He said as he looked back, it was like he saw where the high tide had reached, never quite able to reach that high again. It is a true blessing to have such a pure memory you can hold in your heart, even if it is a bit sad that you will never have quite the same experience again.

That is very true; it wouldn't be the same if it was still like that. I think we were all very conscious in those days that our time together would be ending before we knew it. I just miss having friends that I feel like are my friends for the sake of it, not because I do things for them. It was about the company, not necessarily about DOING things. I don't know if that makes sense.
