So I'll just cut and paste what I wrote about you in that 15-people-from-your-friends-list meme that just went around.

I have two best friends and you are the oldest. You and I met when we needed each other and that makes me trust the universe a little easier. I'm SO glad I asked you out for that drink after class that night. People talk about other people saving their lives and I know you are that person for me. You make me cry, in a good way, more often than you'll ever know. We were such messes when we met, so lonely and so cynical -- me with my addictions and you with your anger. And look at us now. We are actually over it all. Still healing, but over it all. And you are going to fucking make it. I just know it. I wish I could be closer. I hate that my life had to take this route, simply because I can't be near you. And I hate that I am such an infrequent communicator. But I love you so much and I know you know.
