You know what they say about walking a mile in another man's shoes, right? Well, today, ALL DAY, I had combat boots on... and let me just say.. there are no words to describe the experience.. other than OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUCH! Heh, why were you wearing combat boots? How much did you walk around in them. You should try road marching in them sometime. We did a couple road marches with full gear for about 7 miles where those things. It took a long time to finish. Now you know why I have some pretty mean blisters and other marks on my feet.

Do you know what first made me decide to join the Armed Forces? September 11th. I couldn't stand the fact that these evil people were attacking my people, Americans, and I couldn't do anything about it. Now I get to kick their butts! ;)

Because they are cool.. or atleast I liked the idea.. plus I want really sturdy boots I can do a ton of stuff in.. multipurpose shoes, if you will.. er.. these were a painful verson of that.. but yeah.. I walked about 5-6 miles during the day.. I don't really know.. I just spent about 10 hrs on my feet, walking, for the most part, almost continuously except for a max of 20 mins where I was at my desk eating and checking lj... and my email..
