Oh wow! I’m so sorry, I have no idea how I didn’t see this earlier. I can’t believe you wrote me such an amazing, adorable epic, with not only Kaidoh/Echizen, but Inui/Fuji too! It’s wonderful, thank you so much. Of *course* Kaidoh would be the most ruthless captain ever! And of-course Ryoma would be completely hopeless at dealing with a crush and, well, *anything* that isn’t tennis. I laughed all the way through, especially at Inui and Fuji’s benign but terrifying interest in Ryoma’s love-life. And awkward heterosexual Momo, and Nanjiroh’s efforts to work on his parenting skills! And oh, god, *Ryoma’s idea of a date plan*. Thank you!!!

Oh thank heavens you like it. I kept whining at my beta that it was going to be too teen-angsty, not funny enough, or too awkward for you. I was so, so lucky that you gave so many prompt suggestions. It really made writing for you a (mostly) stress free ride and a deep, deep pleasure.

This, dear author, is all kinds of awesomeness!!

First, I'm impressed with how in character everyone was: from Ryoma, to Kaidoh, to Karupin.

This is a pairing I secretly love, and you tackled them exceptionally well. Not only the flow of the story felt natural, but the growth of all the characters made them look so real. At times it was like I was actually there, watching the whole thing happen.

I loved Fuji and Inui's part in this piece, the way the keep meddling is just like them. Also, it was the special element that tied the whole thing together. I cannot see this working without them. ♥

Nevertheless, my favorite part is definitely Ryoma's growth and his sexual discovery. I see him as someone so focused in tennis in canon that he never took his time to figure out his own sexuality. So I applaud you for taking this subject and molding it into this amazing piece of work.

This was a great read, dear author. Hope I can read more from you.

Inui and Fuji were the best cheat in the history of cheats and I love them for it. I can't tell you how many paragraphs of Echizen angst I cut out as I was writing. Chibi got pretty desperate for a bit. Fuji and Inui swept in and lightened things up, though, giving the poor fluff the guidance he didn't want and Momo was far too skeeved out to give.

As for more, I'm pretty much retired from PoT fandom and just came for a romp in the name of nostalgia. Who knows, though.

This was the best thing ever. Witty and eloquent and wonderful in all the right ways.

I actually absolutely adored Ryoma here; amazing portrayal!

There's so many parts I wanna quote back at you because they were so brilliant, but I may have to end up copy/pasting the whole damn thing.

Seriously, I loved it. Amazing story.

Thank you so much for reading and for your kind words. This isn't a pairing I usually write, so I'm glad I didn't snarfle it up.
